Mercy Hospital Jefferson

The Physical therapist I had was super friendly and very concerned about my foot. She asked several questions and recommended several different exercises for strengthening my muscles. She also showed me how to do these exercises giving me a copy to take home with me. Thanks for all you do including the excellent staff there at check in.

Had testing done and the departments worked together to get all the tests done in the shortest time with no waiting between. They will always be my hospital of choice! The employees care about the patients and they show it.

I recently had experiences with Emergency Room, in-patient and outpatient testing at Mercy Jefferson Hospital. All of the services were top notch. The staff was efficient and professional. The hospitalists Dr. Shortt was caring and knowledgeable. The nursing staff worked well together, helping each other when needed. The outpatient followup was efficient and kind. Thanks to all.

Nurses and technical staff wonderful. Got a wheelchair as I was not in best place that day from dialysis or kidney issues. Got me right in as scheduled and comforting and informative the entire process. Had ultra sound and mammogram. In and out in no time.

I dislocated my knee on Monday night and I got transported there in an ambulance and I’m just going to say they were so nice and funny but there was this one nurse I had who made me feel way better I never got her name but she was really pretty and looked like she was about in her 20s and she was making jokes and she had to cut my leggings she just made everything better so overall I had a really good visit.

The Imaging facility is the best that I'm so happy to have found and I'm able to go for my medical needs. Everyone is very kind and helpful. Having the CT scan was so easy and over just as fast as it started with no problems. My technician that did the testing was so nice and kind and listen to anything I had to ask and gave me the best answers for the situation. I'm always happy to go to the Imaging Center in Festus Crystal City area and will always go there.

Went for my son's anaphylaxis and we were in there immediately and everyone was absolutely wonderful. They also had us taken care of and out of there so quickly. Best ER visit we've ever had. Thank you!

I was skeptical about going to the ER because of all of the bad reviews, but despite being in the ER my experience was wonderful. The staff was so nice, and Dr. Wood is incredible. Even though it was a busy Saturday night she listened to everything that was going on with me and was actually concerned instead of brushing me off and sending me on my way. She took the time to learn my history and made me feel at ease while making sure she could do what she could to get to the root of my issue. That was the most I’ve seen/communicated with an ER doc in my entire life. Also shout out to Rachel the insurance/billing lady because she was so sweet. Sorry I don’t know the others names but they were all awesome. Thank you all! My wait times were not unreasonable at all especially with all of the test I’ve had done.

Every experience at every Mercy hospital we have been to in the last couple months whether it was for my dad's hospital stay at Mercy South or catscans he had done at numerous Mercy hospitals, every experience was perfect. The staff, the facility, the food, I would definitely recommend this hospital to anyone! Thank you so much for taking such good care of my dad, I'm happy to say he came home yesterday!!! 🥰🥰

I recently took a friend here that was having severe pain in her stomach up into her chest. I was scared and extremely worried and the staff was great and one of the nurses came up to me and praised me for getting her there and said I most likely saved her life. Her appendix was rupturing. She told me on the way thats what it was. Thanks to Mercy she's doing great!

A very professional hospital, but understanding. I have gotten answers and appointments I haven't been able to get anywhere else.

I genuinely don't know what I would have without this place. From walking in to the end of the experience, everything was immaculate. Very kind, caring doctors and nurses. As my issue was more of a mental situation rather than physical, I was hesitant on going to an ER, but I was quickly relieved with genuine understanding of the situation, and I felt no judgement. As someone who has always been hesitant on reaching out for emergencies that pertain more to a mental situation rather than physical, these folks truly care. Dr Hunt is amazing. I will not be going anywhere else for my emergencies. I am beyond grateful for this place.

Can’t say enough good things about the acute rehab floor and outpatient OT/PT. Everyone very friendly, very helpful and you feel like they only want the best for you.

I am a "frequent flier" at Mercy !! I've never been disappointed about the care, but have had to wait a few times because the doctor needed more time with some people, or was running late...even then they were never flustered about the time slot....

They run a first class act…went for a test, was in and out in less than 30 mins…staff is friendly and caring and concerned with your comfort the whole time…Results received in the mail within two days! Great Job!

Been here a few times recently. Every single health professional(ER, receptional, and doctors) has been an entire human being to me and my fiancee. Straight and too the point, yet incredibly informative to questions that could be perceived as silly. Took us seriously while helped us cope with the harder results, and damn, I swear every person I met was the right amount of professional and personality.

I hate all the bad reviews. All I can say, is always do what you can to seek the best an others and every medical professional is doing God's work. I appreciate all
the staff here!
