Wonderful woman works here

I took in my engagement ring last week Tuesday to see about resizing. She told me the decorations on the side would come off during the resizing so if I'm still planning on losing more weight to just do a resizer. I said okay we can try that. Meanwhile, she has my ring in her hand & is apparently putting on the resizer. She didn't give me any price before hand.

She tells me $15. I had it so I just paid it. The resizer was not tightened, so it kept sliding down making the ring fall off. She had told me that was normal- so I just kept moving it back up. Friday it broke completely off. I took it back today and my fiance and I explained she obviously had not tightened it enough. She said I would have to pay ANOTHER $15 for her to put on a new one. Why so it can be loose again because she doesn't have the strength to clearly tighten it? No thanks. I told her I'll take it back to South County and have it resized or have a resizer put on correctly. Never again will we go to some small town jewelry store who can't even put a resizer on correctly and then honor the fact it was her mistake.
