Coral Sands Motel

We stayed in the apartment for 5 days for our honeymoon. Super clean! There's plenty of room to relax and watch TV or even have friends over. Definitely our new spot. Parking is tight but they have an overflow lot right down the street. Lady at the front desk was very pleasant. Rooms come with multiple towels and wash cloths so you don't have to worry about running out. Beautiful view of the boardwalk from the living room. Only reason I'm giving service 4 stars is housekeeping only came once during our stay but wasn't a big deal since we had plenty of towels. Kitchen is stocked with all sorts of cookware, utensils, plates, mugs/glasses, coffeemaker, toaster, even a sponge and dish soap! The apartment is upstairs above the restaurant with lots of privacy.

We are enjoying our stay here. Rooms are a good size, everyone is exceptional in personality. They are very clean. Had been remodeled a few years ago. Dog friendly, and parking, beach tags free. Deposit for tags but refunded. Convenient location to walk to boardwalk and beach. Close to Downtown walking. Very nice little downtown. Would definitely recommend staying here. Breakfast is literally next door part of motel. They have everything, so friendly, clean, big portions and good prices. 10% off to Coral Sands guests. They serve breakfast till 2pm when they close after lunch. Highly recommend.

Staying at the Coral Sands was a breeze. Late check in was accommodated. Housekeeping was offered everyday and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The owner was very accommodating to us during our stay. Parking was available and beach tags were also available to borrow. Restaurants, coffee, gas, and groceries were nearby. Mini fridges kept food cold. All concerns were addressed. I would definitely come back here.

Clean, comfortable, friendly. Coral Sands is an excellent value for Ocean City (which is very overpriced). Free beach tags and parking; there is overflow parking around the corner. Location is excellent, decor is cheerful and practical (hard floors, good sized fridge, microwave, good table and chairs, closet area, room to stow luggage), all-tile shower was large and well designed, so the water never got on the bathroom floor. There is small window in the bathroom for ventilation. Unlike many places in OC, the room smelled fresh. Reception was very friendly and helpful, housekeeping comes every day and does a good job. Augie's Waffle House is in the building and serves a decent breakfast (10% discount). If you have to stay in Ocean City, this is the place.

My family of 4 stayed at Coral Sands this past weekend (April), and it was absolutely perfect. The manager, Greta was a huge help throughout our entire stay, and was incredibly kind to my kiddos! She even texted me when we left our kids' bathing suits behind. We got to look at three different types of rooms before deciding on a suite with a kitchenette and sliding door that closed off a small bedroom for our toddler. The prices were completely reasonable and we got the same ability to close a door for kiddo bedtime that we've had at Biscayne and Watson for a lot less. And bonus points that it shares a space with Augie's, so breakfast was a breeze. All we had to do was wake up and get the kids downstairs. Thank you so much Greta!!! We will be back.

My girlfriend and I stayed there this month and It was absolutely perfect the room clean service was great 1 block from the beach parking was tight but ok beach tags given with a small deposit witch made things easier for us the breakfast place in motel was fantastic priced right keep up the good work very nice and convenient place to stay I can’t wait to stay there again patio area was really nice especially at nite not bad for being located on a busy street i recommend it to everyone the lady at front desk was very helpful we loved staying here can’t wait to go back!!!! 5 star motel

We were very pleased with Coral Sands. The rooms have all been remodeled and everything was super clean. I am extremely picky when it comes to cleanliness and this room met my approval. It is also in a perfect location and so close to the beach. The rooms have clean mini fridges that keep drinks and water really cold and there is an ice machine, which is great for keeping things cool/cold on the beach. I can't say enough good things about this place and I'm already planning to go back again this summer.

The Coral Sands Motel is a cute and quaint Motel located right on the main drag in the center of Ocean City NJ. It boasts low prices, well equipped rooms, friendly management, and a great location to the boardwalk and beach. We stayed here in the summer of 2017 for two nights during a busy weekend.

Upon first arrival I noticed that the parking was very sparse (only about 8-10 spots), but after talking with the incredibly helpful and friendly manager, John, he informed us they have a few extra spots for guests in another lot around the corner. John was also very helpful with food recommendations around town as well.

After checking in at the rather small office, we were showed to our room and checked out the accommodations, which were pretty impressive. Every room had a mini-fridge, a microwave, a dining table, and a flat-screen TV. The room was very clean and we were provided plenty of towels, wash cloths, shampoo and soap for the weekend. We actually deferred a cleaning after the first night because we felt the room was still so clean.

Though the rooms were well equipped, they were definitely dated; the shower was incredibly tight and the walls were bland. The fridge and microwave were also in a bit of an awkward spot near the door, but in my opinion these are all very minor things that do not diminish the experience.

John also provided us with free beach passes with a $30 deposit, which we completely did not expect, but made our lives just that much easier not having to go to town hall, or purchasing them on the boardwalk.

Overall our stay at the Coral Sands Motel in Ocean City was excellent and we were provided with everything we needed and more.

Also, the breakfast place attached to the motel offers you a 10% discount if you tell them you are staying at the Coral Sands.

We got the apartment sized room for toddler 2 dogs and 2 adults last year. It was good especially because its right near the board walk. Things are a little dated but met our expectations. Great staff, clean, very roomy

Just checked in. Room is pretty and clean. Looks pretty new. Outside belies how nice the rooms are. $89 for Mon night in early may for a queen size. Nice floors and cute decorations. Microwave, coffee maker, and mini fridge with freezer shelf in room. We're happy. Excellent location on a budget

Excellent place to stay. Yes, it is a motel so it offers very basic amenities. It has TV, fridge and microwave. I do believe they have bigger rooms that has a very small kitchen area. Very clean rooms, very nice staff and extremely close to the beach just a block or two walk to the boardwalk (you can see it from the motel sidewalk) . We stay every year. It's a simple place to lay our heads since we spend our time on the boardwalk and beach. 7 years staying here and we will keep coming back every year.

Love the upgrade on the beds, carpets. Nice & clean. Rooms may be small, but you only use it too sleep. Love that they have microwave, coffeemaker, kitchenette. Plus a great restaurant on site, good for breakfast. Stayed many times. Friendly service.

My family stayed for a few days during July and we used the room primarily as a place to sleep and shower. I'm giving 5 stars based on the overall value and friendliness of the staff.

The room had a small fridge, table, microwave. The TV works, but always seems the previous tenant changes the TV channel (not cable channel) and it seems broken. The manager was quick to remedy. The room was CLEAN. The room could have been in a little better shape though. The toilet had a slight leak and the curtains were hanging on by a prayer. It did not lower my satisfaction.

There is no pool but I consider that part of the value in a lower cost than other places. The motel is not on the beach but close enough and at a great spot in terms of the boardwalk shops.

We talked with 2 different manager ladies (I don't remember their names). They were both very friendly and I felt that they would go out of their way to ensure that my family enjoyed our stay.

This place allows pets but we did not bring our cats.

There is a small restaurant in the one side of the motel. The food and service were great. The $ of a 4 person breakfast was a little higher than a diner but not outside of OC NJ expectations.

I would stay here again.

Wanted to add that the cleaning staff were very friendly and quick to help when needing extra towels and stuff.

Nice room for a good price & close to everything beach, boardwalk, & stores. Stayed one night here & my fiancee and I loved it . We had a first floor room. Would like to come back again & stay longer next time. Liked the fact that everything was in walking distance.

My family and I adore Coral Sands. We've been there twice and both times were excellent service and great rooms! The staff is friendly and very professional. Thank you Coral Sands for being our new favorite home away from home!

Had a best expierence, the staff was extremely kind and helpful inregards for directions around the area. The room is very clean and SO cute. We really got the feel of being by the beach in our ocean inspired room. The motel is a 2 minute walk to the boardwalk, just another bonus for us! We loved it.

As soon as we arrived, we were welcomed! I felt like I've known Dawn for years. So friendly and so helpful. The location is awesome, one block from the beach and right above Augies. Yum! We will definitely be back again. Clean quiet room, cold Ac, we had a great time!

We stay at the Coral Sands whenever we come to OC and we love it every time. Greta is the best and does a great job at making you feel at home. Their rooms are always so clean and you can’t beat the location or price !

I love it here at the coral sands it's right down from the boardwalk and a ten min walk to Asbury Street the room was clean and the bathroom is great I love the showers here they have safety rails to hold on to if you need extra help they have a small fridge to put stuff in I'll definitely be coming back here again
