Augie's Omelette & Waffle

What a place! If you like waffles you will love this joint! All kinds of different waffle creations that are made to order. If you like omelettes this is also your place! Had caramelized peach waffles and a Philly steak omlette. Great coffee, service and very clean. Our waitress was fantastic with her service and personality. Will be back! This place should be on Diners, Drive-in's and Dives. By no means is this place a dive but, it would shine a spotlight on an amazing breakfast spot.

Loved the Turkey Melt ❤ One of my new favorites in OC since the airport diner has been closed. Their Turkey melt and turkey club were amazing! Turkey was fresh and bacon was not skimpy. What was even better than the food was the bill! I would totally understand if they decided to up their prices. Food was totally worth it and the location was great! Unfortunately I know this will be a tough place to get into once summer rolls around because there’s no doubt they will be popular. Staff was also really nice and accommodating.

Delicious food & very attentive service! Prices are fair (on cheaper side) and portion sizes are good! They made a great effort to accommodate my needs when I got there and enjoyed my meal.

Pretty solid breakfast and lunch restaurant connected to the Coral Sands Motel. It was pretty busy when I went but still good service.

I got the chocolate chip hot cakes and they were alright. Definitely recommend getting the short stack because each hot cake is pretty large.

Best omelet I’ve ever had. I got the mini ultimate combo where you pick any omelet and any waffle and get smaller portions of both. I got the garden omelet and chunky monkey waffles. You need to eat here. 10/10

Would give 10 stars if I could. Most definitely the best place for breakfast. Great food choices, the best staff, clean and good location. We've literally eaten here every morning except Tues they were closed. Won't disappoint!!

My family and I were in Ocean City NJ for a weekend Vacay and found this place to try for breakfast. We had to use meter parking down the block because the closest parking lots to the restaurant are for the motel guests only and the other lot charges $25. When I went inside to put my family on the waiting list, a party of 6, they told me it would be a 20-30 minute wait. So, I went back outside and informed the rest of my family about the wait and it wasn't even 5 minutes later that they called us and let us know that our table was ready. We sat down and browsed the menu, ordered our drinks and food, and waited. I was thoroughly surprised when the food came out no more than 7-8 minutes after we ordered it, hot and exactly as ordered. I ordered their plain belgian waffle with a side of home fries and scrambled eggs(egg white). Their waffle was great, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, and came with hot pourable syrup that made it even better. It tasted like Golden Malted, but if the batter was made from scratch I may need that recipe 👀. The home fries were a tad disappointing because they could've used some more seasoning and possibly the addition of a few peppers, but you can correct this with the salt and pepper provided on your table (And ketchup made it even better!) The eggs were good but I should have asked to have them cooked longer as they were too soft for my liking. Also, I personally believe that the prices are reasonable and make it so that you'll only spend $10-20 per person depending on appetite. Conclusion: I would love to come back to Augie's and try more of what they have to offer! 💯

New Years morning 2020. First visit. Don’t let lack of cars in parking lot dissuade you from dropping in. The rentals and motels provide many walk-in customers.
Greeted promptly, order taken and served promptly. Friendly staff who knew menu.
Omelettes were light, fluffy and cooked to perfection. Many items on menu. Priced good for NJ resort town. Will return.

Food and service were outstanding. I was a little disappointed with the corned beef hash since it was prepared differently than I am used to but it was still very good. My grandsons loved their waffles! The staff is lovely and the location is terrific. Yes, we'll be back!

Food was delicious!!! Just.... Don't order the Mickey mouse pancake for your kid. It was literally just 3 blobs of pancake dough......they made no attempt to make it look like Mickey mouse hahaha. My daughter felt so betrayed and lied to hahahaha

Best breakfast in ocean city NJ. Busy on weekends so we went during the week and it wasn’t busy at all. I also highly recommend ordering online to skip the wait. Their food was delicious. The omelette and French toast was the best! We’d go back again! Highly recommend

Everything was delicious! I couldn't make up my mind so I got the Ultimate Combo that includes waffle, omelette, & home fries. So so good

Incredible!!! We’ve been coming here for two years and the food and service is consistently great. Probably the best breakfasts I’ve had in my entire life. Best pancakes and waffles!!!! Even the coffee is good.

The waffles here are really really delicious. This is now my “go to” if I’m craving waffles at the shore. Very kid friendly. Our server was so sweet and attentive. Old school no frills breakfast joint vibe inside.

Stopped here before spending the day exploring the shops on Asbury Ave and hitting the boardwalk. Walked in and was seated immediately. Service was quick and food was very good. We were in and out in 30 minutes. Would definitely recommend stopping by to get a hearty breakfast before the day’s activities in OC.

The food was excellent! Our service not so much. We had Katie as our server and it was 7am in the morning, the restaurant had just opened and she was just starting her shift. We are happy people and she was sullen, didn't crack a smile and I had to ask what her name was. I tried several times to get her attention for more coffee and my husband needed ice tea, on different occasions Kayla and Alex came over and helped us....both with a big smile and sweet demeanors. I believe that if you are in a customer service industry you should realize that your tips are reflective of the service you provide. She is in the wrong field. We will be back but someone else will be waiting on us. We went back and had Nancy as our server, wow what a difference! The food is always great and Nancy just rounded out the whole experience. She was attentive and was pleasant. We will keep coming back. Thank you Nancy!

We came back this year and had a wonderful server named Cass, not only was she attentive but really pleasant. The food is always good at Augie's! Cass is quite an asset to your establishment especially since Nancy has moved.
