We absolutely love this place. I travel from Illinois to eat at this establishment. They are very nice and their food is terrific.

I’ve lived in St. Louis my whole life, moved quite a few times around town. China Wok is by far my favorite take-out Chinese in St. Louis. Hot, fast, and delicious. You won’t be disappointed.

I tried delivery from this restaurant. Ordering was easy, they said 45mins to an hour, food arrived after 45. Food was hot and delicious. Ordered orange chicken and chicken lo mein. Large portions and everything hit the spot for a Chinese food craving! Will be doing this again soon.

This is our go to place for Chinese food. Good food and friendly staff!

Love this restaurant. I belive they are family owned. They are super friendly and helpful, that's for sure! I recommend calling in to place your order as the online ordering options seem to have higher list prices than you would get otherwise.

Everything is great every time ! Food and staff are great !! I’ve been coming here for years lunch dinner dine in take out and delivery . Foods always hot and perfectly cooked to order .

This small, family owned and run restaurant serves outstanding food at a very reasonable price. It is a favorite of myself and my employees of our small local business.

Their hot and sour soup is by far the best we have had in town, including the two Lulu locations. Their appetizers, entrees, rices and noodles are all top drawer and a great value! Check China Wok on Bayless (South County) out! You won’t be disappointed!!!

Excellent food and service; they never mind my picky kid's requirement of no onion in her fried rice. They used to not deliver and it was totally worth it to pick up. Now they deliver and it's even better. I particularly like that the egg rolls aren't greasy, the rice is always cooked perfectly - always - and I've never received an incorrect order, which makes me happy. I don't care for the chicken wings, but that's me and not a reflection on quality. They're cooked properly; I'm just not a fan, you know? Employees are always polite and efficient, too.

Wow! This place is like a jewel right in south county! The service is fast and friendly, and the food is awesome! I came in when it was really busy, but they were so fast despite the craziness! Try the hot braised chicken, it’s so good! I like mine extra spicy (:

I’ve lived all over the place and love Chinese food. I don’t usually go out of my way to post reviews for places that are good/decent, but this is the best Chinese I’ve found in all of the states I’ve lived in (25). The place is always busy when I go in, and I understand why. And despite being so busy they get food out so fast. And the staff are so nice and welcoming.

China Wok has great delivery service. My husband and I stay in St. Louis about once a month, and we almost always order delivery from China Wok during our trips. The food portions and large and the price is very affordable. We have plenty of leftovers for our next meal as well if we want. Everything we've ordered has always been delicious.

The food was delicious and the staff was friendly. It took a while for our order to be ready but we didn't mind since we kept adding stuff lol. I live 30 minutes away but the drive doesn't bother me considering how good the food and service & staff is. I finally found a Chinese restaurant that I will continue to order from. Every other Chinese restaurant I ate at always put tiny pieces of chicken in the rice but this place put in giant chunks.

A HIDDEN GEM! This is the best Chinese food I've had in St. Louis, especially for a place that mostly does carry out orders. Our order is always right and they'll make alterations if you ask. Friendly and accommodating staff and AMAZING FOOD! Best hot and sour soup and great crab rangoon. Everything is good but the hot braised chicken is to die for!

Yummy. Friendly staff. FRESH. Crab rangoons are to die for! Fried rice is so tasty & perfect! Delish red sauce. Inexpensive! This is my new go-to for Chinese!

Close and convenient for us- we call our orders in for pick up & always so friendly on the phone. Food has been great each time & reasonable price.

This is the best Chinese food I've found in St Louis. I like to call in my order and then pick it up but they do offer delivery too. Love their crab ragoon. You have to ask for hot mustard and red pepper but they usually include soy sauce and egg roll sauce with your order.

If I could rate China Wok on Bayless higher than a 5/5 believe me I would. I have been going there for the past 4 years ever since I received my drivers license. I have nothing but great things to say! I've explored other Chinese restaurants and by far China Wok is my favorite. The staff is very welcoming, kind, and caring.

They also resolve problems if one was to occur with your food. Give them the respect that you receive from others. Mistakes happen, and if it really bothers you so much to the point where you are that unhappy and have to use profanity upon them, then don't ever go there again. There's no reason to cause a storm over a wrong order, wrong items, missing items, etc. If they made a mistake they will gladly help you out as long as your give them.... RESPECT.

Also note they deliver, but don't call and stir up an order 5 minutes before close that is rude and they will say no, and if I was the owner I would say NO as well.

Also note that what you eat at other Chinese restaurants will either taste similar here, or won't taste similar to where you've been before. If you like it enjoy it, if not then do not cause trouble.

Regardless of the matter this is my favorite Chinese restaurant, and I've been going here forever. As stated before, if your order is messed up in any shape or form they will GLADLY resolve a problem as long as you keep your cool and show respect.

Personally speaking, if you have to curse over an order that was wrong, or not cooked properly then I give you 0 respect. You're not paying $100 for ONE meal, so hold yourself together.

Food was really good and portions were large enough to bring home extra. Nice people working here. Reasonably priced. Great spot for take out or dine in.
