Ready’s coffee shop

We finally got to "Ready's" for breakfast and very glad we did! 😁 The food and old Ocean City come off the beach and grab a quick bite charm was comforting. Mostly counter and booth seating (mine was like a recliner 😄) Our server Jill and the chef Doug, were super friendly and informative, Doug actually sat with us for a bit and discussed his recipe for the delicious creamed chipped beef that I ordered among other topics! 😊 ...and by the way they are the owners as well! 😉👌🏻 We will definitely be back to try the Eggs Benedict that I'm hearing good things about! 🍳😋 A very hometown friendly feel to this nostalgic, vintage eatery, thanks again Doug and Jill... 🥰👍🏻

Cozy little restaurant. I haven't tried lunch yet, but breakfast is always delicious. Service is also really good. Sidney was amazing!

Excellent food! Excellent service! Been coming here for decades. Wonderful atmosphere and wonderful people. I read some of these (ridiculous) bad reviews... what few there are. Do us all a favor, haters, leave OC and don't come back.. c-words.

Just an old school neighborhood type spot, foods simple and awesome, and you can get it at a reasonable price. Great service too. Can’t say enough good things!

Love this place! Such a classic coffee shop vibe and food was delicious!! The rye bread was particularly extra tasty. Not sure why we waited this long to finally go here but will definitely be back for more

Good food and some excellent sandwiches. Great people and service. Not fancy or trendy, just honest old time quality. We've enjoyed breakfast and lunch and never been disappointed.

Coffee was great, the food was filling and very affordable. Our waitress was very polite and made sure we were always satisfied.
The available outdoor seating area is very nice.
The main attraction of course is the aesthetic. The old fashion coffee joint look was stunning. Perfect for a good breakfast.

Adorable little restaurant in town. They are cash only, but have an ATM in the lobby to get cash from. Best french toast I've ever had. The waitresses are so pleasant and go above and beyond to make sure you're happy. New breakfast spot at the beach!

It’s cute with lots of character from neon sign to the original 1962 sign displayed over the breakfast bar top. The food was amazing, toast came buttered for you! Jill owner and server was incredibly attentive and friendly. The bathroom was a small with a tight walkway. Overall, one of the best breakfast places I’ve been to in a long time will definitely be back.

Not a pretentious coffee shop at all. They have only one kind of coffee - the Good kind, the kind your father drank in diners like Readys before you were born! Readys is a clean and quaintly dated authentic Cafe in the heart of Ocean City. A definite must in you are in search of a classic Jersey Shore experience.

Today was home of the “great value” breakfast. Went to Ready’s on 8th and this place is like stepping back in time.
Cute little counter to eat at, or tables and booths. I imagine the wait can be long since it’s not a big place but today we walked right in.
I’m a fan of veggie omelettes with Pepper Jack cheese, and this was yummy. Got the home fries with peppers and onions, or you can get without.
This cute place is very reasonably priced, great for the family on a budget. (Aren’t we all, especially when you bring kids).

The food and the prices are really good here! The waitress Joe was very pleasant to my mom and I during our stay making sure everything was good and talked with us a little bit.

Food and service were both great, place was clean, prices fair, great value. Wonderful place.

Great place!! Coffee and Pancakes were real good and service was excellent. Apparently been there since 1962 and just wish I had discovered it sooner. Will definitely be going back!!!
