The Flanders Hotel

I recently had my bridal shower at The Flanders Hotel in Ocean City, NJ, and it was an absolute delight from start to finish. The venue's historic charm combined with its modern amenities provided the perfect backdrop for celebrating this special occasion.

The event coordinator Lisa was incredibly helpful in planning the shower, offering expert advice and assistance every step of the way. They were accommodating to our needs and preferences, making the planning process smooth and stress-free.

The food was exceptional and exceeded our expectations in both presentation and taste.

In addition to the wonderful venue and delicious food, the service at The Flanders Hotel was top-notch. The staff were attentive and friendly, going out of their way to make sure that everyone had everything they needed. From refilling drinks to clearing plates, they took care of every detail seamlessly, allowing me to relax and enjoy the celebration.

Had a very nice stay the bed was comfortable and everything was clean. The only thing I didn't like was there was no fan for the bathroom but besides that great hotel

My friends and I recently stayed at The Flanders Hotel for a Calvary Baptist Retreat. The rooms were like staying in a condo with almost a full kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The rooms were quiet and comfortable!

Always an absolute perfect experience. The room was lovely, food from Emily's delicious. Service in both hotel and restaurant outstanding

Stayed here in October for an event, the room was spacious, clean and inviting. Can't say anything bad about the hotel and the service received. Amy at the front desk was hands down, the best, front desk person ever! She's funny, charismatic, helpful, cheerful and more than accommodating! She made our weekend! Thank you for a great place to stay and for wonderful hospitality!

Had a wonderful lunch, my friend had a wonderful breakfast. People were very accommodating & friendly. Love this place. Have their own parking too.

We were there for a wedding, and we had such a spectacular time, the staff was so nice. The rooms were comfortable and we had a great view of the beach.. we got to enjoy watching the sunrise.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Loved having the washer, dryer and dishwasher. The pool was great and not crowded. Only complaint is the kitchen chair seats felt like they would fall through if you Sat on them

Fantastically different! 100 year old landmark with1920's vibe and a resident ghost. No kidding. "The lady in white" wanders around, giggling and playing little tricks on the guests. Like sending the elevator to the wrong floor, opening and closing room doors and misplacing and rearranging items.
Welcoming staff, delicious food and the view!!! Right on the ocean with infinite vacation thrills all around up and down the boardwalk. Can't wait to go back.

Lisa and Megan were my rock through the wedding planning process. I was planning from out of state and from our first meeting I knew they had it all under control. There are too many details to even count where they took care of us and made our wedding day perfect. Everything was very structured, which I appreciated. They had decor you can use if you’d prefer. The service, the food, the environment was above what we were expecting. Flanders will always have a special place in our hearts now.

Had dinner here on the while overnighting in Ocean City at the MS Ride. It's such a charming place with old school grace. The food was fantastic, and the folks made us feel special, although we were semi-casual in our attire.

Great hotel. The promenade rooms are outstanding. Stayed here four years in a row. Staff is friendly and courteous. Wonderful place to create memories with the family. You are right on the boardwalk with great views. Would definitely recommend.

We have been staying at the Flanders for the last 15 years. We just love all the rooms and now that I need a handicap accessible room with a walk in shower etc… it is divine! The rooms are all freshly painted and super clean. The decor is very tasteful “shore” inspired. The coffee shop has great hours, and the restaurant has good home style food .

They could step it up a notch if they had valet parking. Also more front desk staff as well.

Didn't stay there but had a lovely breakfast at Emily's. Food was very good. More people should go because the prices were great.

Had Easter brunch here. Very good and will be back!

The tablecloths in the Crystal Ballroom are entirely too long. I actually tripped and fell because of them.

We’ve stayed here during summers for several years now. Everyone is so lovely, helpful and we have the best time. You get 10% off for being a regular guest. Right next to the beach, boardwalk and castaway cove. Can’t beat it!

We came to the Flanders Hotel for a fall wedding and it was lovely. Everything from the beach ceremony to the overflowing cocktail hour to the gorgeous garden room reception was perfect. The staff was amazing and kind. The food was delicious and picture perfect.

The only con was we still had to pay 10.00 to park in their lot for the wedding. (It was kind of an annoyance)

A beautiful vintage hotel, well maintained. The friendliest front desk person Joanne, really delicious food for galas and weddings. The wait staff are all friendly and helpful. We've had nothing but wonderful times at events at this hotel

I have used this place two times- for a ladies overnight trip and then for a spring banquet. Both times, the hotel and staff exceeded my expectations. Beautiful venue, excellent service, and tasty food. I highly recommend this place for whatever event you are planning. Thank you!
