Blue Water Inn

When my boyfriend and I booked this hotel we were nervous because of the reviews. We got the single queen room and it was nothing special but it was fine. The room is small but there is still plenty of room to walk. There is a little TV which worked, an air conditioner, and overall the room was clean. The shower is pretty small so it’s hard to move much but we managed. The sheets and towels were clean and in the shape of a swan on the bed. The building is old so there are no elevators and the steps are quite steep to get to the 3rd floor which is a bit of a hike. The only down side was that the “heated” pool was definitely not heated. Other than that we had a great stay. They even have a changing room and showers to use before/after you’re stay there which is awesome for people who hate sand... like me :).

Me and my family stayed at this hotel for one night and let me just say i am pleased. when we walked in, we were greeted by a young staff member and she was so nice to us. then we went up to our room and it was super clean. i was nervous because of the bad reviews but this place was so cute and nice. there are no bed bigs by the way. the bed was pretty comfy and the pillows were too. there’s a tv and a fridge. and the bathroom is super clean. the towels were even folded into swans. yes, it is a little outdated but it’s super clean and i would definitely stay here again. 10/10 highly recommend.

The room is comfortable. The shower is quite small. Overall though, staff was fantastic ! They made sure we we're comfortable and we're extremely friendly. Location is perfect. I, personally, have no problem with the rooms. I would definitely come back !

I have no idea why this place doesn't have better reviews. It's an inexpensive hotel thats a clean and safe place to sleep with a nice heated piol, free parking, free light breakfast, and is like two blacks from the best pier at the boardwalk! They even let you stay parked there, use the pool, and the changing room and bathroom after check out! Sure its not fancy and its in an old wonky building but you don't go to the shore to stay in your room do you? And when you get back from a long day walking in the sun you don't notice a crack in the wall or a little outdated decor. You do notice a night cool room with a comfy bed and a shower. We have been going here for like 6 summers (before and after kids) and have no interest in finding another hotel. We love this place in all its rickety glory!

I was scared because of previous reviews but the place exceeded my expectations. Staff was very friendly and the room my family got was clean and perfect for us. Only downside was the hike up to the third floor everytime we came back from the beach or boardwalk.

We visited Ocean City and stayed at the Blue Water. Close to the boardwalk. Im not sure about some of the other reviews but the beds were new and rooms were clean. Staff was helpful and there was an included breakfast which is easy for a family. We stayed summer of 2013 if that helps. We would recommend to friends.

Wonderful service. Rooms are very clean but bathrooms are small. Pool is not clean. I felt like I was swimming in chlorine. My eyes burn from the pool. Tastes like copper. Free breakfast though

yes the blue water in is older that's what makes it so unique. It's in the historical district of Ocean City some things need to stay original. If you're looking for high end Hotel Pass ...Blue water inn .is a comfortable laid back like ur "great aunt Edna's house " look and feel. . It is as clean as it could be for being so old. The Porch is fabulous for sitting and relaxing. Its close to everything downtown. We love it!!

The Blue Water Inn is a nice place to stay. You can park early and stay parked after check out, so the 10 am check out isnt a big deal. FYI there are no elevators and there are stairs into the building.

We rented apartment #3 which has 2 queen beds plus a full pullout sofa and a full kitchen and living room .two blocks to the beach we used the pool and saved money cooking on the large gas grill they have .A large grocery store is only three blocks away.The only issue we had was water in shower gets extremely hot which can cause a burn but was addressed by the owner who is in the process of remodeling the whole hotel.this is our fourth year renting here .

Rooms are on the smaller side by why do you need a big room at the beach....get out and have some fun. Great location and amazing staff.

Love this place. Quaint and clean. Wonderful staff. Only 2 blocks from the beach. Free parking and beach pass.

ALL EMPLOYEES: Sava, Tammy and the rest of the staff are AWESOME!!!!!!!! A spit away from the boardwalk and beach. If i could get away from the dogs I'd go there every weekend...

Our favorite place to stay in OCNJ, rooms are simple, clean and a huge variety of layouts, we love it, been coming for 10+ years!
