Mimi was great at helping me pick the perfect engagement ring, and she did a great job with keeping my budget in mind. Extremely happy with the service and level of attention, and the final product! Thanks for all your help.

This is gonna be a long review. The short version is great staff, great selection, and cheap lab diamonds.

Long Version: So my now fiancé and I have been looking for rings for a little while. We wanted to see a specific Gabriel and Co ring (The Sandrine). We saw Jay Roberts carried Gabriel and Co so we stopped in. While they have a good selection, they didn't have that specific ring. The staff (sorry I forgot everyone's names) said no problem, we'll order a sample ring and it will be here next week. Awesome, so I got the call not even a full week later that the ring was in. It was just a sterling silver version since it was a sample but it did the job. We got to see it with various diamonds, they had a big selection of all different shapes and styles. We decided we liked a 2.5 oval.
Now comes for the lab diamond discussion. So I've been researching lab diamonds for a while. I discovered Ritani, which is a diamond supplier and jewelry maker (they actually carry Ritani rings at Jay Roberts). This online website is the gold standard when it comes to lab diamonds and they have the cheapest diamonds by a long shot compared to many competitors. My plan was to buy a diamond from them and have the jeweler put it in the ring I want. I decided to ask if they could match Ritani's prices for the same spec of lab diamond. I expected a "oh no we can't do that" but surprisingly they said "yeah sure no problem, we'll order some diamonds for you to see in your price range." I was pleasantly surprised. A week later I get the call that the diamonds are in. I checked them all out, I cross referenced the specs and prices right in front of them and Ritani really couldn't beat their price. Not that they were significantly cheaper, but nearly matching the cheapest online diamond supplier is great. I chose my perfect diamond and put in my deposit for the ring.
Waited maybe a month for them to get the ring in from Gabriel and Co. I wasn't in a time crunch by any means so I told them to take their time. It was absolutely perfect. I proposed in Japan and our wedding is next year. We'll definitely be back to buy our wedding bands. Oh and maybe a watch at some point, they have a really nice selection of watches. Can't recommend them enough. Don't waste your money at those dumb chain jewelry stores in the mall. Go here and support an independent jeweler who will actually give you a good experience.

The center stone on my engagement ring chipped (yes, apparently they can chip); I was so upset and honestly didn’t know what to do. So I went to Jay Roberts, and Jay took a look at it and explained that it would have to be replaced. I was heartbroken at having to change my ring, but Jay was so kind and helpful and he put my mind at ease. He worked with my insurance company to replace the stone and remake the ring, and I couldn’t be happier with the final product! Jay was always quick to respond to my calls/emails and kept me in the loop with what was going on. He was super knowledgeable; I’m so glad I didn’t go anywhere else! The entire staff was always so nice every time I was there. I’d 10000% recommend Jay Roberts for anything jewelry related <3

Jay Roberts is the best. I am so very pleased with the new setting for my original diamond engagement ring. The staff at Jay Roberts was so very helpful and patient with me. I was so very indecisive and Mimi and the rest of the staff allowed me the time to look at all the choices. I never felt rushed and appreciated their knowledge and guidance. They made suggestions and helped me throughout the process to choose a setting that would be just right for me. The end result is perfect! I will treasure this new ring as much as I did the original.

The whole process of buying a ring is incredibly stressful and complex. Although I had a very basic idea of what to purchase, Donna was an absolute god send. She patiently walked me through all the important details that I needed to know to find the perfect ring. Even though I took 5+ hours of her day over the course of two separate sessions, Donna and the rest of the Jay Robert’s team was always there to guide me. I was able to make a decision at my own pace and felt supported/never rushed. Once I was ready to make a decision, Donna really advocated for me so I ended up with an excellent price on a dream ring. I 100% recommend Jay Robert’s to any one looking to make ANY ring or watch purchase. Any other jeweler would have not taken as much time to educate me and make sure I understood exactly what I was purchasing. My experiences at Jay Robert’s have made me a life long customer even though I live in NYC! Definitely worth going out of your way to visit.

Came into the store to get my ring cleaned and to see if another ring could be turned into a necklace. The store associate was excellent, attentive, really listened to my desire of how I wanted the necklace to look. And the jeweler far exceeded my expectations. I picked up the necklace and it was gorgeous! I would definitely have the jeweler do more work in the future. Highly recommend Jay Roberts. I have been shopping there for 25 years!

Ben was awesome. He worked with me for 2 wks to help me find the right watch. I even met the owner Jay who was very down to earth. The entire store team is very patient, listens and helps with your purchase and are never being pushy on you to purchase. This is definitely not my last purchase from this store.

Jay Roberts is the place to go. Sandy is amazing and we will never see another jeweler. She is efficient and every single time we come in without fail she extends her hand and offers to clean my ring. Every time we visit all the staff are friendly and smiling. My beautiful engagement ring came from Jay Roberts and it was absolutely flawless! They took the diamond my grandmother left me and put it on the halo setting I always wanted. Of course the day I got home from my carribean vacation engaged, I completely smashed it at work on the emergency exit door! I ran into the store a complete mess and begged they fix it asap!
