My husband and I took a drive down from Wall Township to look at cabinets for our kitchen we're currently redoing, and were immediately discriminated for reasons unknown to me. Upon arriving I asked to use the bathroom and was told no "because its raining". I shrugged it off as weird and continued looking around. When the salesman FINALLY approached my husband and I he asked us what we were looking for. I mentioned that we were in the process of redoing our kitchen and I had the measurements for the cabinets from another company we looked into. He cut me off abruptly and said "well you're going to pay double here".. "these are American made quality cabinets". He wouldn't even look at my measurements to give me an estimate. I left extremely dissatisfied and quite frankly feeling disrespected. I called today to speak to the manager, and spoke to the same woman working at the desk. She apologized and said to be exact "we just didn't think you could afford anything here" because apparently the other cabinet places we looked at were "low budget". I wasn't even shown enough respect to go over financials. I am a veteran and a registered nurse, I can very much afford to buy cabinets from them and was in fact looking for "quality American made cabinets". However, they lost our business and I will make sure none of my friends or colleges use them.
