Nixon's General Store

I ran across the little general store in Tabernacle New they have a full menu of all kinds of sandwiches and wraps and paninis and stuff that they make fresh. They have a place inside where you can sit and eat the food that you or you can come right in and order and take it with you it also have phone orders that you can please and pick your food up we have tried multiple things off the menu and have not had one thing that disappointed us yet the service is excellent the atmosphere is great. The prices are good the amount of food that you get for what you pay is very generous I highly recommend them they're open 7 days and I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

Food was so good. Had to bring a couple more subs home. Worth the drive! Great experience. Staff was friendly and helpful too!

Has a lot of food options. Lots of sodas created locally with various flavors not available in big supermarkets. Some even poked fun at Trump and Biden which made me laugh. The staff is friendly and one even had a nice conversation with us while we shopped. I got a few cool bumperstickers for my collection in my garage. The stickers are related to the area and the pines.

Went there with a group of students and we were greeted warmly and treated with care. Loved the food so much we had to come back a few days later for seconds. Will permanently be a place we visit time and time again.

We go here for cheesesteaks every year after our annual blueberry picking trip. Not sure what the neg reviews are all about, ours had plenty of meat and flavor and everyone was happy — we will be back!

Stilllll great cheesesteaks. We also tried the cold turkey toasted sandwich and it was great.

Was out looking at Christmas lights with my daughter and I wanted some coffee and she said I would love a panzarotti. I saw this cute old general store n jus had to go in n check it out and they even had panzarottis. I loved it,friendly workers,it was almost 8pm and the grill was still open, many different kinds of sodas! Tried their chicken salad and it was delicious. Wish I lived closer I would support them always,but if I'm ever in the area I will def return n try something else out.

Nixon’s is a staple of Tabernacle, NJ. It’s been around forever and is consistently great. With a wide selection of unique sodas, tasty snacks, and AMAZING cheesesteaks, hoagies, burgers, and more, Nixon’s is the place you wanna go to if you’re visiting—or even just passing by.

Just got 2 cheesesteaks, one chicken with mushrooms and onions, and one beef with bacon. Both were VERY good and HUGE! One of the best cheesesteak place around.

Great cheesesteak. I delivered propane to the store decided to grab a steak sandwich and it was great decision. Super tasty and full of flavor steak sandwiches!

Food was really good and reasonably priced. Food came out fast and was delicious and as ordered.

Upon entering the store I noticed how organized, well stocked, neat and clean it was. The man at the counter was very helpful when I told him it was my first time there. I ordered a cheese steak with fried onions and mushrooms. The man at the counter was insistent that I sit and be comfortable while waiting for my order. There is a section with tables if you want to eat in. Even though they were busy my order came out in a timely manner. The amount of meat on my steak sandwich was amazing! The roll was so fresh! The balance of onions and mushrooms was perfect! The price of the sandwich was very fair considering the amount of meat on it. I was originally gonna order onion rings with my 12 inch cheese steak. Glad I didnt. I could barely finish the sandwich. Next time maybe a 6 inch so I can try something with it. I will be back! Great little place!

Food has always been good. The new owners are nicer than the old owner. I've been very happy with everything Ive had since the new ownership. Keep it up!

My mom used to bring me and my brother here occasionally back when we lived in Tabernacle from 1984-91. Great place, it has changed a little since then. I revisited Nixon's in August 2019 and some remodeling had taken place some years ago. You used to go through a set of double doors and in between these doors were VHS movie rentals on both sides. It was almost like walking through a tunnel. I'll never forget that.

Despite the new owners, this place has the best cheese steaks and pans or outdoors on he can buy. Every thing is an arm and a leg but that's what you pay for convenience in the sticks.
