What an awesome experience. Michael did an awesome consult with me before my appointment. Ersilia was amazing. I love my color and my hair looks and feels amazing! The cut is exactly what I wanted. I was looking for a new salon and I believe I have found it!

Lisa does absolute MAGIC!! She takes her time and gives so much attention to detail. She took my pretty vague idea of what I wanted and made a masterpiece!

Lisa always does an amazing job! I have long hair and get Brazilian Blowouts, and Lisa knows how to cut long hair and keep it looking healthy without sacrificing length. Michael the owner is great about communication and making sure you remember your appointment, and letting you know about any changes!!

I have long hair that I got done - long layers, face frame, and dark brown color, and I love the way it turned out! I have been bringing my almost 90 year old mother-in-law to Ida’s for the past several months weekly for a wash, blow dry and manicure: I cannot speak highly enough about the kindness and flexibility they have shown us, not to mention the wonderful services they provide. She always comes out of her appointments with hair and nails looking beautiful and feeling happy and pampered. It is a small friendly place with wonderful professionals. I highly recommend.

Always a good experience. My only problem is that Lisa does such a fabulous job and my hair never looks as good as when I do it. I am grateful that the style is such that even I can make it look good. Love the color, highlights.
I also am very impressed with how conscientious Lisa and Michael are with protecting their clients insofar as cleanliness, sanitizing and all that needed to be done to open during this Pandemic.

I love Lisa and Michael so much! Our whole family sees Lisa...my little guy's skater cut looks fantastic; Lisa did just what he wanted! My daughter loves her long hair, and trims make her nervous. Lisa always sets her at ease, gives her a blow out even though she's only 10, and makes her feel great. My husband and I both like it short, and Lisa does s a great job, even when we don't give her much to go on. Or maybe I should say especially...she gives us shapes attractive for us. Michael is very accommodating and fun to talk with when setting up appointments, etc. #1 We look great, #2 We always enjoy our time at Ida's, and #3 I highly recommend to all!

The salon I had been going to for 26 years recently closed. I've tried a couple of other places in Northbrook but I think I've found a new home with Ida's. Michael is so friendly and the manicurists are wonderful!

I've never loved my hair more than since coming to Lisa at Ida's. It's coarse and frizzy by nature, but Lisa recommended services that transformed it into shiny and manageable. My whole family goes to Lisa!

Tatiana was wonderful. She did my Keratin treatment today and was not only a pleasure to talk to, but she also did a very thorough job on my hair. I've had keratin treatments at other salons, and this turned out better than the rest. Highly recommend her!
