Dutch's Restaurant

We were scheduled to attend an event at the Prudential and were looking for a nice place to dine. Fortunately for us, I came across this restaurant. Both the food and service were excellent. The prices were reasonable, and the bathrooms were clean. I would totally recommend this restaurant. The decor was pretty stylish as well.

The only issue I had was actually getting someone on the phone, but it was very easy to reserve a table.

Renzo our server provided an exceptional dining experience. He was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. The ambiance was inviting, with tasteful decor and comfortable seating. The food was expertly prepared, showcasing fresh ingredients and delicious flavors. Each dish was beautifully presented, and portion sizes were generous. Renzo efficiently ensured that we had a great time after a horrendous day at my job . Overall, it was a delightful dining experience.

Went to Tryp to catch a flight early in the morning and I decided I wanted a bite to eat thankfully they had this restaurant and bar called Dutch’s . The bartender was awesome very helpful and good to talk to, everyone was really chill. The food came out fast which is always nice. He made an amazing drink and the flat bread was delicious wasn’t so filling which I liked so I could eat my steak. The steak was excellent seasoned great and was cooked exactly how I wanted it I was really happy with the service all around I definitely want to come back there

Jaysen is an entire vibe all by himself. He enjoys bartending and it shows. He is social but attentive to everyone at the bar. He can pause (if you need it) or keep the drinks flowing (if you can handle it).

The restaurant is clean. The countertops at the bar are wide enough for you to eat comfortably. The food looks fresh and appealing when served.

They need a hostess to complete the vibe upon entry. There was no one to greet me. The staff was busy doing what they were doing. The bartender looked inviting and there was space for me so I walked up and asked if it would be ok for me to sit there. Everything else though was great!

I wanted to express the outstanding service provided by Renzo during my recent visit to Dutch]. From his insightful menu recommendations to his warm and attentive demeanor, Renzo truly elevated our dining experience. His enthusiasm , made our evening memorable. Than you Dutch for a great dinner night!

We had a LOVELY VISIT!! A great experience. Server & service were fantastic!!! Was pleasantly surprised at our wonderful experience. What an experience! Met some insanely cool regulars and staff that HOOKED ME UP! Wish I could have stayed all night. Big recommendation for anyone in town. Very quick walk from The Station.

My jalapeños margarita was a huge hit!!! Hot and firey! The best ever. Enjoyed the food. You will too.

Perfect lunch date or even a date night! Great food and even better drinks. Such a great ambiance and the drinks will get you, okayyyyy. Especially, the Bartender Jason, a drink scientist if you will, trust me ask him for a drink, you’re welcome!😏 Thanks for making our Galentine’s Day Special💕

Hospitality at it's best! The staff at Dutch's improved my family's stay at TRYP Wyndham. The food, drinks and atmosphere was onpointe. We recommend the Dutch experience to the locals and people visiting the area!

Great atmosphere, good food, and nice waitstaff. The portions were large and delicious.

I thought that this was very fancy and nice. The food was amazing and the waiters are very nice.

Attended a bday celebration here it is beautiful the food was very delicious and service was outstanding. The fried calamari and coconut shrimp appz were very tasty; the side sauces blended well. The salmon and lobster surf and turf with yellow rice and greens were delicious.

This was my first experience at Dutch's. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a very nice change from the usual restaurant scenes. There was live jazz, a nice crowd and great service. I had the poached salmon--simply delicious. It was well seasoned and the presentation was good. Their drinks are also great. I had a Jalapeño Margarita and it was a perfect blend. After our meal, my husband and I moved from our seating into the lounge area where we had great conversation with CC Rogers and his family. The night was magical. I plan to return with friends for my birthday in December.

I’ve been here more times than I can count. Drinks are always wonderful and well priced. They just updated the menu and added a few more items. Excellent.

Such a nice restaurant inside the Tryp hotel. Beautiful lounge to enjoy cocktail in the evening. Very nice bartender, polite young gentleman made me their signature Spa cocktail. It was one of the best cocktails I have ever had. Wow. Then I had shrimp tacos, you can taste the quality of shrimps. Just nice to enjoy a restaurant where you know they don’t cut corners and give you delicious quality meal. I didn’t hv breakfast but it looked delicious as well. Definitely go eat there if you are staying at the hotel. No need to look for any restaurant with good food since it is right downstairs. Next time I am in Newark I will stay at Tryp hotel just to enjoy the restaurant again. Keep up the good work 👍

Dutch’s is an amazing place to eat and kick back with great drinks! The staff is amazing and if drinking is your pleasure, ask for none other than Jason at the bar! He is skilled and makes a great drink! Highly recommend!

This establishment, from the Tryp by Windham, down to Dutch's Restaurant & bar, is simply a diamomd in the rough. Very personable team of staff from Margarita up front and Valentino leading into the bar to his team of drink-smiths; Jaysen & Fabian. Besides the hospitality with great food and drinks to match, they are the reason I will definitely return here!

Warm friendly staff and nice restaurant located in one of my favorite hotels TRYP by Wyndham

Wonderful atmosphere in this newly reopened, very stylish bar.
We had a fantastic evening visiting from St. Louis and meeting a friend from NY. We initially sat at the bar to have a drink and a little food before we intended to go out to eat. We stayed 5 and 1/2 hours.
Everyone we dealt with on the staff was interesting and fun and the food ended up being fabulous small plates and entrees that we just kept eating.
The manager Valentino talked with us off and on for at least 2 hours and made a couple of free specialty drinks for us, the bartender Jaysen was on top of everything and two servers Rosa and Diego, kept an eye on us and the others at the bar and made sure we were getting what we needed without any delay.
And they were all great at visiting and making it a special evening.
I highly recommend the Lemongrass Skirt Steak and sliders but EVERYTHING we ordered was good. I think the poached salmon and grass fed burger were also really tasty.
