Schreibers Deli & Catering

After moving out of state 9 years ago, we finally made it back. I have found some decent sandwich places down here, but have yet to find a proper potato salad. This had to be done while back in Jersey. We stopped at Schreiber's on our way to the airport. 2 perfect sandwiches and a pound of potato salad. All as perfect as I remember. The staff are still welcoming, chatty and genuine as ever.

..literally the best roast beef sandwich around. Cooked in the store. The potato salad is tasty also. Big fan of this place. Fast service. Call it in and they'll have it ready by the time you get there, skip the possibility of a line.

Let's just say that we will drive from Weehawken just to get their homemade potato salad, cucumber salad and tuna salad. All three are just delicious and everyone here is so nice to deal with. They have lots of great sandwiches and specials too.

I love this place because it's old school with quality meats, homemade salads and fresh breads. My favorite is their potato salad. Generally, I'm not a big fan of potato salad, but they slice their potatoes very thin and add whatever it is they add, and it comes out amazing!

We drive from Somerset County 2- 3 times a year for the BEST potato salad in the WORLD!! The crew is lovely and the service is top shelf!!! Its worth every mile we need to drive!!

My husband and I ordered a bunch of trays of hot foods for a party. To say the food was phenomenal is an understatement. Our guests could not believe how good it was.. and neither could we!!! Their prices are so reasonable and they do not skimp on the servings! They were extremely easy to work with and very reliable. They provided everything we could’ve needed for the food (utensils, plates, sternos, etc). I can’t wait to use them again for our next party!!

We used Schreiber’s deli to cater a baby shower after they came highly highly recommended. The food was absolutely delicious and they could not have been nicer, more accommodating to work with. They worked so hard to get everything delivered, hot, and set up. They were amazing, and the food was so so great. They were timely and went absolutely above and beyond for our event.

Schreibers is a good deli to grab sandwiches, macaroni salad, potato salad, snacks, and drinks for lunch. Mr. Brenkert is the best worker at Schreibers every day. I usually order a chicken cutlet sandwich with lettuce and mayo and a side of macaroni salad for lunch. Best sandwich shop in Oradell.

I highly recommend Schreiber’s for all of your catering needs. Ryan and his team were kind, helpful and reasonably priced. Thank you for the wonderful Mother’s Day catering! Everyone raved over all of the food especially the potato salad and rice pudding. Looking forward to working with you again for our future events.

Had a mix up in my order and when I called to explain mix up, customer service was amazing! So friendly, quick to offer a reimbursement or new sandwich, and honestly could not have been nicer about it. Was my first time ordering, but I will definitely order again!

Delightfully delicious potato salad, macaroni salad, homemade soups and main course savories, the freshest deli meats and rolls. Friendly and helpful staff. Great daily specials. This is my go to deli even though about 5 towns from home. It's that good!

I now live in South Florida. But, going to this wonderful deli is a given when I'm up visiting my family in the same town. Their salads are known as the best anywhere. Potato salads to die for....either mayo or German. I get both and eat then separately or mixed. Every salad is top flight, such as Mac salad, cucumber salad, and others. They even say they ship the salads to other parts of the country to former local residents. They have cooked dishes also....fish, chicken, skirt steak, Mac 'n cheese, etc. Of course, the usual high quality Thuman's deli meats and cheeses. If you go here you will be addicted for life. It's that good!!!

I love this deli! The staff make you feel like part of the family. They are also very accomodating. Just ask and they will make whatever you want! The food is amazing. Lots of hot/cold options for lunch and dinner. The line is sometimes long, but speedy efficient service. Catering is also delicious, we ordered all hot items to be delivered and they were hot and ready to go!

Literally the BEST potato salad I have ever had in my life! When I moved to Oradell more than 20 years ago our neighbors brought us a couple of pounds and we have been addicted ever since ! Try it and you will agree !
