I really love this Colombian Cafe! More than an average coffee shop. All of the pastries and breads are made on site.

Very busy on a Sunday morning but understandably so. The vibe here is great, I love the wooden floors. Complimentary infused with real fruit water!

Today I ordered iced matcha with muddled strawberries and watched the berries be muddled in front of me. A naturally sweet drink. I saw an iced mocha being made and wanted to order that and just regular coffee! 😅

Fairly priced for crafted coffee and tea specials in Ridgewood. Worth the wait - best not to come here if in a rush.

Yum! This place is such a vibe it really does feel like you’re in a town in Colombia. Not only is it a cute place but also the coffee and food are amazing! I tried one of their seasonal drinks it had matcha whipped on top with a iced bear and they nailed it with flavor and presentation. Definitely a place I will be coming back to it!

Had such an amazing experience here! Such a cozy cafe with beautiful decor! I came here for the first time and let me tell how delicious their coffee and food was! The owner Johanna was so wonderful and stopped by our table to check up on us! We’ll def be coming back!!!!

Great atmosphere. Great Columbian coffee. They have the columbian cheese bread and croissants and a few other options for food. I got their nitro brew. Very good.

Rey sol is one of the cutest, most thoughtful coffee shops I have ever been to. From their exterior to their interior the shop is designed beautifully and decorated to the appropriate season. The staff is so friendly and helpful when ordering and their drinks are all so cute and perfectly made! I loved trying new drinks that I can't find at any other coffee shop and can't wait to go back!

What a cozy cafe! I love what they did with the place. Having the coffee roaster in the middle of seating area might lose some seats and tables, but adds so much more of a rustic small hometown cafe vibe. Their lunch was delicious and surprisingly a generous portion! There are a lot of cafes in Ridgewood, but I think this one wins the vibe competition for younger population.

Rey Sol is the cutest coffee shop and the moment I took a bite out of the food, my heart was immediately stolen! Their coffee options are easily my favorite! had seen online they add an ice bear to any iced latte or coffee, so immediately I knew I had to come. The s’mores drink was very intriguing and is only available when dining in - it was a real treat. We were in the mood for a sweet but savory breakfast so we split the avocado toast and had our own order of the waffles with berries. The food and coffee was incredible and definitely recommend checking out! Make reservations before you go - when I was there, every table was reserved, but they have a bar top area for walk ins. The food was a 10/10

Get to this place fast! One of the best restaurants in Ridgewood, hands down. Excellent service, unbelievable quality food, and just a fun atmosphere that makes you want to come back. Still enough of a hidden gem that the more mainstream brunch options in ridgewood will have a longer wait. The avocado toast was out of this world, and the waffles with fruit and homemade whip cream were just as big a hit. Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Run, don’t walk.

Officially found my new coffee spot. Authentic, original and trendy! The instagrammable cafe that is actually worth going to. I had to order the iced latte. This came with one adorable coffee bear ice cube to prevent the coffee from getting too watery. They added a few regular ice cubes as well. The flavors are incredible. I selected Dulce de leche and hazelnut and wow what a combo. I ordered the cheese finger, guava and cheese empanada and beef empanada. Flakey, flavorful, and OG Colombian food. Bravo to the owners for picking this location, there is nothing like it in this neighborhood. I will absolutely be back, circling the block for parking just to get another taste of this wonderful cafe. The only thing, it is costly. However… it’s in Ridgewood. Again, Bravo to the owner. This is such an original idea and that teddy bear coffee ice cube is such a sweet signature. High quality ingredients, old school recipes, trendy and modern location. 5 stars all around.

Rey Sol Coffee is a standout favorite. With its top-notch food and delectable coffee, it's the ideal spot to start the day. The atmosphere is inviting, making it my preferred destination before heading to work. A solid 5-star experience!

Rey Sol Coffee is a hidden gem in a state, New Jersey, known more for its pizzerias and diners as oppose to coffee shops. Nonetheless, Rey Sol Coffee, an oasis in a desert of chain coffee franchises, reinvigorates the soul and gives you an experience you didn’t know you needed - the business captivates, not only for standing out among very few independent coffee businesses, but because they really are that special.

Telling Rey Sol’s story, attempting to describe the experience, doesn’t do it justice - you have to go and live it yourself.

Their Instagram page, as solid as they come, understates the experience - the photos capture the moment, the videos capture the tone, the shop hits you , “In the feelz,” as the young folk would say.

Get a cup of cappuccino. Order the “Wafflebono.” Chase that with a “Build Your Own Breakfast Panini,” then tell me what you think. The feelz were realz!

For many, the drive to Ridgewood, NJ might be too far, but It’s certainly worth the drive. And you’ll be happy to know, a new Morristown location is opening soon.

The shop was busy, so maybe call ahead and make a reservation if possible.

Bring your family and friends; plan a couple of hours; embrace their unique experience.

Ask them about their story - It’s a testament to what an unique independent business can achieve.

Then enjoy the oasis you need and deserve.

Stop what you're doing and come try the waffle. Didn't know they could have such great texture. Absolutely plowed through them. Thank goodness I was solo today, would've had to fight off the kiddos! The blend of the blueberry marmalade and the cream took it to another level. Only request would be a thicker marmalade (similar to jarred orange marmalade if that makes sense).

Love this place!!! What an awesome brunch spot! I’m a huge fan of Colombian food to begin with so this place is amazing for me. Try the sweet waffle bono with the dulce de leche whip cream. Will be back to try the avocado toast cuz every table had at least one

Very good coffee and pastries. Location is tough to get to due to parking spots hassles, but if you’re in the area already this spot is definitely the perfect pick-me-up.

Love the ice mocha and the teddy is super cute. The avocado toast with poach egg and smoked salmon is outstanding; food quality is very good. Highly recommended!

The atmosphere is great. The coffee makes the drive so worth it. If you want to stay away from Elizabeth or the highly populated spots, I highly recommend Rey Sol

Aesthetic… so cute and the avocado toast was simply delicious! I don’t know what they put under the bed of arugula but I could bathe in it 😭 place is tiny so be prepared to wait for a table or take your order to go.

Well for first impressions this place is absolutely amazing Frappuccino blew me and my wife away, I got two different ones and I’ll tell you there’s no Starbucks, in an amazing good way! it’s better than any coffee place you’ve ever been to. The food is pretty good too I highly recommend coming here if you can though try and get a spot to sit down and eat
