Brogan takes such excellent care of us. She helped us organize options and ultimately book our 2 week honeymoon and that was so incredible we went back to her to book a Mexico trip only a few months later. She’s timely, resourceful, and follows through. Life can be so busy and so finding someone I trust to be able to take off the mental load of finding an incredible location and planning vacation is invaluable. I would trust Brogan with anything from a weekend getaway to a full-on family reunion in another country.

My husband, Andy, and I had the pleasure of working with Nathan Parr for our honeymoon trip to Thailand. He started our honeymoon in the beautiful Chiang Mai, scheduled in the fun-packed city of Bangkok in the middle, and then wrapped up our honeymoon on the island of Phuket. Our trip was everything we could have imagined and so much more! Nathan curated a life changing experience packed with adventures, amazing food, luxury hotel stays, and the most wonderful tour guides in every city. Our experiences alone could take up an entire Google review from playing with the elephants, witnessing breathtaking temples, our Thai cooking class, one-of-a-kind Bangkok markets, the Phuket Island tour, and SO MUCH MORE. He also kept in contact with us throughout our trip providing extra recommendations where Andy and I could experience local fun. Not only did we have the most amazing honeymoon because of him, he expertly and professionally helped us through some unintended mishaps. First, we accidently missed our flights to Thailand and without Nathan's swift action, we may not have made it at all. He worked tirelessly to provide us options to get us through our mistake and got us on a new flight the very next day. He reached out to our tour guides to help coordinate the changes and we ended up not missing out on a single excursion. Bringing our 2 week trip to a close, my husband got sick and we were not able to make it to our flight home. Between Nathan, Jamie Anderson, and our tour guide Mr. Oak working after hours in the middle of the night, they figured out a way to get us to a connecting flight at a different airport to get us home. If there was ever a couple who needed the assistance of a travel agency, it was me and my husband. Even if we could have figured out a way through our flight perils (which was unlikely), it would have cost us thousands of extra dollars without him. Nathan and Team were actual miracle workers and made our trip such a magical experience. If you are considering using Travel & Cruise Desk and specifically, Nathan Parr, this is your sign to do so! We cannot recommend this team enough. Nathan was not only a top tier professional, he was also a fun and charismatic guy to work with that helped us more than any review could put into words. Melinda - Bora Bora was absolute paradise!!! It felt like every step of the way was so sweet. It could not have gone any better! Our flight was amazing (first class was definitely the way to go, especially flying home overnight). The over-water bungalows were magical and spectacular and the Four Seasons level of service was everything I would've expected and more! It was absolutely perfect in every possible way!

We met Nathan Parr -- Travel Advisor by referral from a family member that had a wonderful experience using him to organize a 3 week trip throughout Europe in 2019.
As we prepared for our May 2022 trip to the U.K., France, and Italy we were excited to use his services as well.
The purpose of this referral is to let others know how easy Nathan makes the planning process. He knows so much about each location that he not only offers practical advice and organization but also unique experiential options we'd never be able to find on our own. He has a really good process for getting to know the likes, style, and rhythm of how a family likes to travel and spend their time that truly helps in dialing in a personalized experience.
Once the itinerary is set and confirmed it gets delivered to you by normal means (pdf) but also via an app that we loved. Everything you do from flights to hotels to sights to events to transfers are all there for easy access, including confirmation numbers, etc,. We loved it!

Nathan was so lovely to work with. He was very communicative throughout the entire process and I could tell he was invested into finding my fiance and I the best deal possible. It was like having a friend working for us! When the dates of our trip had to change, Nathan was so empathetic and worked hard (and quickly) to book us a new trip. He also shared his opinion with us the entire time (ie: "how short" is too short of a layover; when to buy car insurance and when to see if your credit card company possibly has it built in; etc), which was a pleasant and appreciated perk! Jessica has literally been my life saver for the past few months. I began planning a honeymoon in February with her. In the beginning she was quick to respond, friendly, and very obviously cared for all of my needs (which were many as I have never been out of the country). She got everything I asked for and then some, gave me tons of options on resorts and dates and flights, and was TOTALLY accommodating.

Fast forward a few months and I'm no longer getting married. This absolute ANGEL gets my reservations moved around so I can still go and bring my best friend along so I don't lose any of my deposits!

And again this past month my friend and I have had major car issues, so we are no longer able to go on our trip. I don't know how she does it, I was sure I would lose all my money but she got me a full refund for everything I had booked through her. I can say, without a doubt, that I will never book a trip through anyone other than Jessica. I'm telling all my friends, my coworkers, my family. She has saved me so much grief, time, money, and energy through this complicated and stressful process. I can't wait to work with her again!

Jamie and Brogan were tireless in ensuring my son's wedding at Secrets Moxche (Playa del Carmen) came together. With the resort opening only two weeks prior due to construction delays, plenty of things could have gone wrong. Instead, all 80 guests had a wonderful time at a spectacular resort. Thank you for all your work toward making this as special as possible!

I took a trip planned by Jessica a long time ago and was recently reminiscing about it and realized I should’ve written a review. She was great from start to finish, listened to our input and helped us plan the perfect trip to Peru. We actually got food poisoning while we were there and realized she had had us purchase traveler’s insurance unbeknownst to us and our visits to the doctor were covered. If you are looking for a travel agent that can walk you through the process of your trip, Nathan Parr is the best! He goes above and beyond to make all my travels extraordinary. Let me not forget to mention Michael, the receptionist. He is such a pleasure to talk to. Every time I call I can feel him smiling through the phone.

I cannot say enough. My family *needed* a vacation- badly. We needed to see family, we needed to celebrate that we had pulled through some hard times and we recovered. We needed to meet newborns and young kiddos for the first time. We needed to give our 5 year old a really great experience. It was... just mandatory.
Oh, and we had all kinds of special circumstances, including a vacationer with disabilities. The itinerary that I wanted was complicated, and I had to get help. I didn't want to miss little details that would cause problems. I didn't want to spend hours on the phone or online sorting out every option or all the different choices.
I wanted to go to two major parks. I wanted to stay in three different cities for several nights each. I wanted to rent a car and organize a flight. I wanted to spend big in some areas, and save serious bucks in other areas. Packing, organizing professional photos out of state, making reservations for restaurants I haven't seen in a dozen years, and getting someone to tend to the pets would be be overwhelming enough.

Jessica was my savior! Our kiddo had the experience of a lifetime. The hotels, car rental, flight, parks, and special events were all well organized. So I was able to organize professional family photos with loved ones that we don't get to see enough. We were greeted warmly by all the various travel staff. No unexpected issues or surprises. Our kiddo was treated like a princess, and all of the expenses that we encountered were expected and planned for.
We have made memories in just a matter of days that we will talk about for decades. I cannot say enough. I've climbed pyramids in the past, and I've been to places that were much more exotic, but this was the first time that I ever played "tourist" in an area that was a very familiar former home of mine. As it turned out, this was still a considerable adventure, and one of the best vacations of my life.

I worked with Hollis to check prices on my travel plans. She was super friendly, thorough, made sure she understood what I was after, and then did some good work to get me great information.

I didn't end up using the service this time, but Hollis was no less friendly or helpful after I shared my decision with her.

I believe in Shop Local whenever possible, so will be calling Julie's first for future travel needs. Obviously a good crew there.

Jessica at Julie's Travel is is simply the best travel agent I have ever worked with. She takes clients' needs to heart and will not rest until she finds the best price and best arrangement possible. I can't recommend her highly enough!

Jessica is awesome! She planned my trip to Vancouver and Victoria BC and created a fun AND relaxing vacation. I did and saw things that I would've never planned on my own. Many months ago I contacted Julie's Travel Desk with a list of activities to accomplish while visiting Thailand for two weeks. My travel consultant was able to come up with a fully guided itinerary of sights and excursions (ziplining, canoeing, rafting, elephant riding, cultural experiences, and much, much more). The trip took place recently during the second half of January.

Many people go on vacation to relax. I go on vacation for exploration, adventure, and of course learning about the culture who's country I visit. I'm someone who quickly becomes bored, so I need to have different activities taking place every day throughout my trip. The itinerary was full just like I prefer!

The trip went phenominally well and quickly became everything I hoped! The guides were always very imformative, and they taught us so much about their culture. The airport to hotel transfers and hotel to excursion transfers also went very well. I chose to stay at 4 and 5-star hotels and those were nice too. Everything was very organized, so I can honestly say that absolutely nothing went wrong, and most importantly, I always felt safe. I saw and learned so much in so little time! I thank Julie's Travel for this AMAZING experience! There's really nothing I'd do different, and I will definately continue seeking this travel agency for future foreign adventures. Thank you JTD!!!

We had a destination in mind (Scotland) for our honeymoon and a couple of sites we wanted to see, and they took care of the rest. Our agent happened to be Scottish, and he had several great suggestions. They booked our hotel, flights, and tours. All it took was a couple emails and quick phone calls, and they took care of everything. I only wish that we had more time and money to have them book more vacations for us.

Great company to work with, Brogan was awesome and she made the whole process so easy. Highly recommend!
