Wizer's Fine Wines

Love this place! Super helpful and patient as they educated me about all of the older wines I had won at an auction. Taught me how to use the ah-so wine opener as well. They are excited and passionate about what they do, and it shows!

I feel fortunate to have Wizer's within walking distance of my home. I belong to several wine clubs and Jim and Tom have been invaluable in helping me select wines that pair spectacularly with our food selections. Their extensive knowledge has really enhanced my enjoyment and appreciation of fine wines. They have also taught me that you don't have to spend a fortune to bring exceptional wines to the table.

I needed a bottle of wine to be delivered the next day as a birthday gift. Called and talked to Jim. Very pleasant guy to work with. He handled everything, from helping with the selection, gift bag, message on the card and his wife delivered the wine. The end result was a very happy birthday girl! I will be going back to Wizer's Fine Wines for sure.

If you're seeking something out of the ordinary Oregon Pinot noir, this is the place to go.

A quirky, yet finely polished establishment to buy and try wine. Between Jim and Tom they have more years industry experience and knowledge than most of us have years on Earth. A wide variety of wine, some rarities and aged selections, along with bottles you can enjoy casually with friends. Drop in and say hi, you won't regret it. If you can't get there in person check their selection on-line, it's impressive.

Wizers is a really cool wine store right down in the First Addition of Lake Oswego. The store is packed with unique wines similar to being in Belle's library from Beauty and the Beast - think shelves high with a ladder to climb. The store looks tiny from the outside however once you enter it grows exponentially and even has a second floor. Their wine is priced extremely competitively which was unexpected due to the location and the fact that it's a small business. The owners were present and quiet at first but once you approach them and initiate conversation they are quite friendly and helpful. We left with their card and an open offer to source a unique wine we have been looking for. We will be back.

Huge selection of Oregon and other Northwest wines, including a surprising number of past vintages. They also carry a lot of wines of the world, which I haven't had time to explore, but I will.

BTW, they've recently moved, so go to the A Avenue address.

Very nice little wine shop in lake Oswego. N ice variety of selections from around the world and especially good selections from Oregon and Washington. Helpful knowledgeable friendly staff. Best wine store in the area for sure.

Walked into a surprisingly abundant and diverse selection. Tom and Jim were both quite helpful, and gave me some vineyards to keep an eye on based on the wines I selected. Definitely will return for more.
