Carver Park

Been years since I had a float down a river. Loved this one. Wonderful day, river was beautiful and the whole experience was super fun. Work out you logistics and you will have a good day. Few areas you need to have your wits about you but overall very chill float

Great place to put in or take out of the Clackamas River. It’s busy on the weekends. Please take a trash bag and keep this place as clean as possible. Few cities have such a nice river this close to its downtown. Don’t take it for granted. Enjoy the waterfowl, fish and other wildlife!

It's beautiful! It's clean, the porta potties are some of the cleanest I've ever seen, even had toilet seat covers. There are plenty of dumpsters, trash cans, and recycling bins. The trails are nicely marked, and so far there is plenty of parking.

Clearly enjoyed walking up Clear Creek from the Clackamas River. Please be aware that there is an $8 parking fee, which is strictly enforced.

Love this area.. And the family time on the river.. Enjoyable for ALL ages.

Nature is all around you. Just stop and listen and you can hear it...
$5.00 park fee. But well worth it.. Picnic tables and covered areas.. Public bathrooms..
Grab any floating device you got...And enjoy.

Great place to float to from Barton or McIver parks. (Don't forget your dry sack, sunscreen, & a good paddle if you float.)
Also an awesome place to just chill on the shore & enjoy the day.

If you're lucky enough, you'll find a parking spot on weekends.

Nice park, too many people are here on a hot day. Good place to get out from floating the river. Will come back to here.

So Barton to Carver float in the summer time is an ultimate experience! Make sure you bring two cars tho otherwise youll havena hard time floating againts the current and hundreds of floaters or just one long walk back up hill! fun and a great way to meet people Please clean up after yourselves mother natures and gods creations are free to us all. In the picture find the bald eagle!

What a great way to spend a summer afternoon then on the river with your friends floating the Clackamas. You can see all kinds of wildlife along the way. As well as beautiful homes up on the cliff sides. Please be respectful and pack out what you pack in.the parking lot can get full so if you want a closer spot to the boat ramp you might want to get there early. There are porta potties available as well as picnic tables and covered areas for family gatherings. Due to the covid-19 the play structures are closed. The cost to get into the park is $6 please leave your alcohol at home... Float safely and be respectful of others...

Awesome Barton to Carver float. Come prepared for a 3-4 hour float. There's lots of jagged rocks and fallen trees that can puncture your inter tubes

It's a lot of fun. But it's also work. And the one thing you don't want to do is be late getting back to the boat ramp. They will tow your vehicle. Both at Carver and Barton. At 8pm at Carver and 9pm at Barton. Both have a team of cops and tow trucks waiting and watching the clocks. And they have zero to no sympathy

Nice place for a picnic, hike, fishing and it also has a boat ramp.

I did a Barton to Carver float on the Clackamas river the other day and I do love me some river floating. This is the standard novice level float that every Oregonian should experience once in life. Carver can become quite overcrowded with floaters in mid-summer on the weekends. Which is fun for meeting new people, but a pain for parking and navigating the traffic. Carver park is of course conveniently located to the carver hanger, and I'd recommend a hot pile of nachos after a few hours on the river to cure any drunken embarrassment that was had earlier on the river. Of course, if the river witch has struck you and your party on the water, carver is a great place to continue to get wasted in sacrifice of the river witch's mercy.

Floated the river with family and our Chihuahua. We had a blast! It was a great surprise to suddenly see MtHood in the gorgeous backdrop. Will be back! Restrooms were clean and appreciated.
