Armanios reupholstered my sleeper sofa and large side chair. The old fabric was shredded and needed replacement, but I couldn’t find a new piece that I liked. I was amazed that the sofa could be recovered, given the heavy and bulky mattress mechanism. Armanios has an assistant who was able to detach the mechanism, and reassemble once done. Armanios is quite artistic and takes justifiable pride in his work, which was quite helpful with fabric choice, annd shows in the quality of completed work. I heartily recommend him. Post-script: return customer, with Armanios replacing fabric and cushions on dining room chairs, as well as two bar stools (using a sturdy fabric like a diner booth.

I inherited a lot of old furniture that needed to be reupholstered, and Armanios has done an amazing job making everything look new again. They have lots of fabric from which to choose, the craftsmanship is superb, and the prices are fair. They are also just nice to work with! The photos show an antique dining room set, with two end chairs, a couch and another side chair. They rebuilt all the stuffing and did the reupholstery.

Armanio is the best! We had an older arm chair that was so comfortable but had suffered from the effects of old age. We decided it was time for a change but the old chair was full of memories that we weren’t ready to give up. We brought the chair to Armanio who assured us that he could bring this treasure back to the days of her youth. He worked with us to find exactly the right fabric. We purchased a leather couch about four years ago and rescued a dog (Imus) simultaneously. (His name has nothing to do with Imus in the morning.) Imus wore out one cushion on his side of the couch, and the second was not far off.

Understanding this was a nuisance, Armanios was happy to help and directed us to the most cost-effective repair approach.

His work was timely, and the results were perfect.

Armanios did an amazing job fixing a converstaion chair for us. He was honest and upfront about the chair and the work it needed. Price was fair and even when we had to put in new springs, he was reasonable and the work is excellent. Chair is like new and we are back to conversating!

I built a custom banquette for my dining room and Armanios did a fantastic job upholstering it. They had a wide selection of fabric and we were able to find a textured blue that matches our kitchen island. They were able to follow the curve of the banquette and give us the vertical roll look we wanted. Photo shows the completed banquette (minus the front panel I need to attach). They were great to work with throughout and he is a true craftsman.

We brought in 6 dining room chair cushions to be reupholstered. These cushions were 60+ years old and had the original “foam” that needed to be replaced as well. Armani was extremely knowledgeable, great to work with, and the cushions came out amazing! The price was fair and they were completed quickly. We will definitely go back for future projects!

Beautiful work on six dining chairs. Mr. Armanios cleaned up the wood and replaced all the missing screw caps. The work was done sooner than expected. I would definitely use him again.

I seriously LOVE Armanios! I needed custom cushions for my dining nook. Armanio personally came to my house and calculated the very tricky proportions. Then, when it turned out I hadn't provided enough material (my bad!), the lovely lady who makes the custom upholstery provided coordinating fabric for the cushion undersides free of charge. Beautiful piping work. The custom cushions fit my tricky dining bench and back exactly. I am very happy with their work. The couple who run this small shop are charming and have a sophisticated eye. Would not go anywhere else, this shop is a hidden gem.

We had 2 old chairs that needed to be completely re upholstered and visited Armanios to see what could be done. We had our own fabric that we wanted to use, and the owner was happy to work with us to make sure we were all on the same page about what was necessary. Having agreed on a price, we left our chairs in Armanios' hands. The finished result was absolutely stunning and we couldn't be happier. The attention to detail and meticulous craftmanship was astounding. This is old-school craft that has all but died out. Good artisanal work takes time, and we were in no hurry, knowing that everything was being hand done. The two chairs took some weeks to finish (as we had been told from the outset) and when we picked them up, we could see the care and attention that had been taken. Cannot recommend highly enough. Fantastic work and fair price.

Armanio is a real craftsman. He replaced the foam and webbing on my 4 dining room chairs (which is not an easy job) and carefully applied the new heavier fabric I bought myself online (after getting samples). The original chairs have an excellent American made frame but the seat fabric was mediocre and webbing terrible. Armanio is obviously a total professional and finished my chairs within 3 days at a reasonable cost. Now, they are much better than new! So, don't throw out well made furniture if the fabric has frayed or the foam collapsed. Let Armanio rejuvinate it with fabric or leather of your choice.
