Stopped in here with my mom today and I’m so glad we did! The food was delicious and the owner shared how the food is fresh and made in-house. The portion of the Cuban sandwich is more than generous and it’s one of the best I’ve had in a long time. I look forward to going back and trying some dessert next time. Check them out and support small businesses!!

Best Flan! rich, creamy, and indulgent. The caramelized sugar topping adds a delightful contrast to the smooth custard texture beneath the coconut on the bottom delightful! This flan desserts is a decadent treat that perfectly balances sweetness and creaminess, making them a delightful ending after a Cuban sandwich!

What a great little spot, the food is wonderful and the service is even better. The furnishings are smartly chosen and it has a very warm modern feel! It's hard to say what the best thing is they're empanadas are great, especially the ham and cheese.

Juan is the man! Whenever I go to a food spot I always focus on customer service food and he makes you feel like familia! The Cuban sandwhich was one of the best I’ve had! You CAN NOT leave without trying the coconut flan! Literally the best coconut flan I’ve ever had! They’ve been open for only 6 months so get here before this gem explodes!

I absolutely love Cafe 28 in NJ! Their food is fantastic, and I appreciate that it's not fried. The baked empanadas are a must-try, and their menu is simple to understand with a nice variety of options. This place it’s like no other in passaic park. It’s a must try.

Very cute cafe love the decor and Service! The empanadas were delicious I had the lomo y queso and Juana la cubana with café con leche.

The coffee was good, and the person who attended my girlfriend and I (his name was Juan) was nice and welcoming. Also the food sandwiched look delicious, can't wait to go back.

This is a gem in Passaic. Yummy Cuban treats and other specialties. The owner is so kind and generous in his spirit, as well. A must visit

Juan was so nice in our first time experiencing Café 28. He explained each dish we wanted to try out and kindly offered his suggestions to our order.

The food was excellent, the coffee was amazing and if you are a fan of empanadas and philly cheesesteaks, I would highly recommend trying it out. Juan periodically checked in our stay and even offer on-the-house refreshments, what a guy!

I love the interior decor if you are one to take picture and like to to do studying/office work. I will be sure to visit this local shop here in Passaic again :)
