The Office Tavern Grill

We came in without reservations and were quickly seated in back where it was quiet enough to talk. I had one of the two mules on the clever tablet menu and it was good, served in copper and there was enough of it. I had a cheddar soup which was almost fondue and very tasty (my wife used it for dipping) and she had good fish & chips. Waitstaff was solid for a busy night.

It was a great time had by ALL in this part of Bergen County in New Jersey. The truffle tots were terrific, the wings were scrumptious, the sliders are a ➕, and the sweet potato nachos was the bomb. The Tavern Burger and the Braised Ribs are excellent choices as the atmosphere adds to the eating experience. I recommend if you are here...stop by and enjoy.

Amazing place located right in the heart of downtown Ridgewood. Great selection of drinks and all the food was amazing. Garlic Bread Burger was cooked perfectly medium-rare just like I asked and the French Onion Soup was delicious. Definitely will be returning soon! Just note if you are going on a weekend the street parking might be hard to find.

Went Christmas Eve close to midnight. Everywhere in town was closed and they were just about to. They welcomed us in big smiles to enjoy a few drinks before closing. Bartender was a sweetheart. Will go again, earlier of course

After renovations and new ownership, we still had a very enjoyable evening at the Office. The drink options were extensive. The food was excellent. The service was friendly and efficient.

Great service, great food, adorable environment perfect for brunch with friends or coworkers! Highly recommend the Quesadilla Verde from the lunch menu, it's exquisite. Also in a perfect location: surrounded by shops and there is a movie theater within walking distance. The only negative is you should get there 20 minutes in advance to get close enough parking.

The waiters here order super quickly, and the food is out of this world. I can’t describe this place well, it’s just sooooo good. If you want to know what it’s like I very much recommend going there yourself! Even though we just ordered appetizers it’s still delicious anyway!

The office has increased the sophistication of their menu, adding fancied up chicken and waffles, delicious flat breads which slight kids and adults alike. Their southern fried duck is moist and delicious with a great crispy outer shell.

The chicken and waffles was some of the best I've ever had! If you are ever in the Ridgewood area I would recommend stopping by this establishment! If you order to go they even throw in some complimentary cookies which I thought was unique and wonderful! I look forward to stopping in and eating here one night! Staff was very friendly!

Great atmosphere and the food is delicious we had the gyro pita with chicken and the roasted chicken tacos

Came here for Mother's Day and they did great accommodating our large party. Food was good, server was pleasant, and the place was very clean. Not much more you could ask for.

Stopped here for a fast bite and a beer and got just that. Ordered sweet potato fries and they were fresh, cooked perfectly and delicious!! Beer was fresh and hit the spot, it was clean, and our server was friendly. Nice surprise because we don't usually eat or drink at chain restaurants. We'll be back!

Love this restaurant! Jan (hostess) is amazing and always accommodating. The restaurant has one of the most extensive beer selections in the area that is always changing with new stuff. Their flatbreads are great and very different! The staff is very knowledgable about the menu and very flexible with substitutions should you have anyone in your party with a food allergy. I'm not a fan of the couscous as it has too much vinegar for my taste, but if you like vinegar you will love it.

Really great service, food was good, and great space to eat and watch sports. Parking was a bit difficult though.

Have eaten here twice in last few weeks. They keep the tables warm outside and the food has been really good. We’ve had burgers, the braised short rib sandwich, kids pizza, and tuna bowl. All were really great. Also the service (Jim) was great.

Just had a great date here yesterday, the bartender/hostess was delightful, so sweet and funny. The food is delicious, whether flatbread, wings, sweet potato fries, or their tuna bowl. Definitely reccomend it as a lowkey spot to have a good meal and not too crowded

Great local spot. I recently returned after having not been there in years. It is clear how much effort they are making to stay fresh and relevant. One appetizer is deviled eggs with a little Buffalo chicken on top - What an odd combination! But it is terrific

Recently updated to be a little more modern. It lost a little bit of the charm, but its still good. It went from a mom-and-pop office to a corporate office. They have a pizza oven and delicious bread that they bring to the tables when you sit down. There are large windows on the street-side which they open on nice days. The tall ceilings make it a feel very open and comfortable.

Came here on a friend's family outing. There were seats out front (covid precautions styley) but it was a bit chilly so we opted to wait for a table indoors. It's been a while since I've been inside a restaurant.

Our wait wasn't long. We got two tables joined together to accommodate our party and the way they've set up so as to physical distance, feels as if we had the place to ourselves.

Staff was a pleasure! Food great. Most of us except for the vegetation got (I think it was called) crusty garlic bread burger w/fries. We enjoyed our meal.
Even though it's (like) a sports bar they're very family ready and the children were served their milk in little kiddie cups. Cute.

This is a spot I'd definitely recommend and return to if I'm in the area.

Food was great, service was A1 we had 2 waitresses taking care of us. Pet friendly outside we brought our dog with us.
Street is blocked off and everything is spaced out properly. Would definitely recommend (weather permitting)!
