Great Italian restaurant with beautiful holiday decorations and great service. We enjoyed delicious gnocchi, pappardelle bolognese, and lobster spaghetti, as well as tasty old-fashioned and Aperol Spritz drinks.

The food is sensational, the service is top notch, and the atmosphere is perfect for those looking for an intimate dinner. Perfect date spot. We will be back here regularly. We started with a caprese, I had the papardelle bolognese, she had the eggplant lasagna, and we shared a tartufo gelato for dessert. Everything was to die for--we cleared our plates! The wine selection is also fantastic. Do not hesitate to make a reservation!

I recently had the pleasure to have lunch at Porto by Antonio, and I must say, it has quickly become my absolute favorite restaurant in the area. This intimate eatery offers an exquisite experience that left a lasting impression on me.

From the moment I stepped inside, I was enveloped in a warm and inviting atmosphere. The cozy ambiance, combined with the friendly and attentive staff, immediately made me feel like a valued guest.

But let's get to the star of the show—the food. Porto by Antonio effortlessly captures the essence of Mediterranean cuisine with each delectable dish. From the first bite to the last, their food has a remarkable ability to touch the heart. The flavors are rich, authentic, and exceptionally well-executed, showcasing the chef's true passion for his craft.

The limoncello spritz. I can confidently say it is the best I have ever had. The perfect balance of zesty lemon and sparkling bubbles creates a refreshing and invigorating drink that perfectly complements any meal.

Every aspect of my dining experience at Porto by Antonio exceeded my expectations. The attention to detail, both in the presentation of the dishes and the seamless service, was exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that I had a memorable and satisfying time.

I would also like to commend the restaurant for their commitment to using fresh, high-quality ingredients. The menu boasts a diverse selection of dishes, accommodating various dietary preferences without compromising on taste. Whether you are a meat-lover or a vegetarian, there is something delightful for everyone.

Porto by Antonio is a restaurant that truly stands out from the crowd. The combination of its intimate ambiance, exceptional cuisine, and the heavenly lemoncello spritz create an experience that will linger in your memory long after the meal is over. I wholeheartedly recommend visiting this gem of a restaurant, and I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

This is a neighborhood jam, and it's the best Italian restaurant in the entire NJ. I highly recommend this place.
Food:
1. Spaghetti Cacio E Pepe - dream come true - spaghetti made in a cheese bowl- see the video
2. Pepperoni pizza w/ red sauce- best pizza ever
Service: very friendly by all native Italians
Ambiance: very small and authentic- it reminds me a Sicilian restaurant in Italy.

This place is always a delight, and does not disappoint. Food is amazing and cannot go wrong with any dish. We loved the octopus carpaccio, of course accompanied by a focaccia, spicy burrata and the fried artichokes. The pastas and pizzas, they are all favorites. Our only issue, is that we always order too much as everything makes your mouth water. Great spot for a date, or for a family outing. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The restaurant is beautifully decorated & the food is fantastic. I tried the parppadelle, the fried pizza 🍕, the bacon appetizer 🥓 and arugula salad 🥗 the bacon was delicious and the fried pizza is always amazing. There is limited street parking available but this spot is worth checking out. Less of a wait if you stop by for lunch...

Amazing place. Great ambiance. Loved the wood fired pizza. Excellent service even though it was a busy night. Saturday evening was like a 40 minute wait - but they called us before 30 min. The food and drinks Made the wait so worth it. Also, if you love zinfandel’s try the 100 year year old aged whiskey barrel wine. It will not disappoint.

Found this spot as a YouTube suggestion. It is a small spot, and not big in size. The staff is friendly, and attentive. Their food is cooked fresh, and is prepared well. First time eating Pesto Piistachio pasta. I wasn't a big of the taste. I wouldn't order that again. Other than that, I enjoyed myself, and I like this place.

Came last night to celebrate some birthdays! This restaurant is beautifully decorated inside and out. Service and food was impeccable!!! A tad on the pricey side but you pay for what you get and that's quality!

I went here the other day for lunch and it was absolutely exquisite. The clams and shrimps in tomato sauce were divine, the sauce tasted like it was cooked for a while, it was very pulpy and there was no acidity in it. The focaccia helped to clean that sauce from the plate. The pizza was really good, the dough was light and easy to digest. Definitely will come back

Absolutely delicious, especially the burrata with truffles and shrimp zupetta. I also had the ravioli which was great as well! The pizza dough was perfect for me, but if you like super thin pizza go somewhere else. My bf had their specialty old fashioned and he loved it and def worth the price!

This food is insane. It’s soooo good and you get it all for a decent price! The truffle pizza was to die for. I would go back just for that alone. The spicy rigatoni lives up to its name. It’s so so spicy, but we loved it. Our favorite had to be the pesto with pistachio sauce, we were all fighting for the left overs the next day. I think everyone will enjoy the food here and there’s something on the menu for everyone!

Great food with a very well designed restaurant. It makes for a fun spot for a meeting with friends or a date. You can park on the street. I had the pasta with pesto and pizza with pepperoni. They came out great. I will come back as I heard the Negronis are amazing. You can make a reservation online.

I am indulging the moments of being able to attend this wood burning pizza, italian/portuguese spot without the riff raff of ny times food critic followers. Being a jersey city native and seeing razza pizza blow up to becoming a pompous pizza parlor was a sad moment, not so much from the business but more from the customers. You can see in the picture that the slice upon being folded has a great shape as amazing napolitan style pizza should. The pasta here is amazing and homemade. Our waiter has been there for the past 4 years that ive been attending. I am lamenting the time that this place blows up to be what it should be but until then i will continue to enjoy the BEST pizza in NEW JERSEY. Thats right, best pizza in the state without a doubt. Small place so the seating is tough to come by but well worth a 45 min wait. PS the art there is DOPE and made by the owner Antonio's cousin. His instagram is full of sick portraits as the ones there.

Great wood fire Pizza restaurant. Frendly staffs, delicious foods. We had few kinds of pasta and pizzas. Pizza was also very delicious. One of pizza was fried dough. It’s little different flavor compare with normal pizza.

I've been coming here since they opened a few years back. The service is out of this world. Antonio is amazing. The dishes here are all delicious. I've had the best spaghetti carbonara at this place and is one of the few places that offers an authentic Italian dessert and one of my favorite, affogato al caffe. I highly recommend Porto by Antonio.

Great Italian restaurant with very delicious food and wonderful cocktails. We got a few appetizers, their signature fried pizza, and a pasta dish that was served out of a cheese wheel that was on fire! The service was a bit slow since they were busy but the food made up for it. The atmosphere is nice. They have a well-stocked bar and great lighting and decor. Their fried pizza was very unique - a must try.

Went to Antonio's on a whim after a night in the city. The vibe is amazing and the decor is very fitting. The food is great and the service is exceptional. I will be coming back here again to try the fried pizza.
