McLoone's Boathouse

This is our fav hidden local gem! Great food, excellent service, beautiful ambiance and awesome live music! Don’t sleep on the clam chowder and short ribs! So many gluten free options 😋

I'm a wedding photographer and I photographed a wedding here in November. The ceremony was held behind the restaurant and the cocktail hour and reception were held in a tent enclosed room on the side of the building. There's a pathway in the back that goes around a lake and there's quite a few woodsy hiking spots in the surrounding area. It's great for photos! Very scenic. Food was great too!

Very glad I decided to have my birthday dinner here!!! From the moment we walked in, the front of house staff was incredibly welcoming and kind. We were sat immediately and our server was very attentive and pleasant. I must point out the variety of options throughout the menu. Tons of different flavors so there is something for everyone. The drinks were delicious. I had two spicy margaritas and a glass of pinot noir out of California. The other drinks ordered from my table were Long Island Iced Tea, Rum bucket, and California Chardonnay. Each drink was a winner. There was live music which is always a plus for me when it comes to dinner entertainment. For dessert, I had the coconut cake which the staff was so sweet to put a candle in which I absolutely appreciated. The cake was moist and full of flavor. A coconut dream!!! Absolutely coming back again!!!

I came here on Friday for lunch and had an incredible experience. I got the boathouse burger and my fiancé got the seared salmon, both were incredible. The best part of this meal was the outstanding service from our waiter Dylan. He guided us through the slightly overwhelming menu and made us feel welcomed from start to finish. Will definitely be back soon!

The short version : Service was
Fast attentive, very warm, and friendly, and NOT intrusive at all when we were eating, as a lot of restaurants tend to do. The food was delicious. The restaurant itself was very clean and the bathroom was spotless. And Completely minor issues were taken care of by their offering, not by my request .
The long version: My mom and I came here to celebrate my birthday. The waitress, Candace, suggested a drink, which Unfortunately, I didn’t care for, But I was going to drink it anyway . She Insisted in exchanging it for a different one with sincere apologies… Yet I was the one who felt bad because I didn’t like the drink! The manager, Deanna Came to our table personally to apologize again. Then we had dinner. I had the crab stuffed grouper, and my mother had the pear salad With chicken. Mine was amazing, And although my mother loved the salad she mentioned That it only had a few pears in it. The manager, Deanna, Came by a second time and asked us how the food was. She prompted my mother to tell her the truth… That she was a little disappointed, because there weren’t enough pears. Deanna immediately went and got her a dish of pears to add to her salad. My mother was thrilled, and we both enjoyed our dinners thoroughly. At the end of the meal we decided to indulge in a chocolate lava cake (Even though we had a birthday cake, waiting at home for me) BECAUSE The service was so wonderful. Again, absolutely delicious! When we got the check, we were told that the dessert was on the house! I honestly don’t know why this place only got three points something stars. I haven’t eaten here in a while, But every time I have come in the Service has always been excellent and the food has always been delicious. But tonight the staff and Service just went above and beyond. I could not have asked for a better birthday dinner!!

Love this place!! Been coming here a while and it's always great. Food is always good and drinks are delicious. Happy hour is always busy. Last time I was here I was served by "Ti" at the bar. She was very nice and attentive. I remember her because she was also the bartender at a party I attended here as well. Very nice and great attitude. Will definitely come back.

First time here for a Valentine's Day lunch and the friendliness, courtesy, and atmosphere was terrific!
I reserved ahead a few weeks before. But, I really don't think reservations are needed during lunch time. Not sure with dinner time.
Food was scrumptious and drinks were very good! The view is beautiful but being it's wintertime, I'm sure the view of the lake near the restaurant looks spectacular during the Spring and Summer Seasons.
We will be returning here! I do recommend you try this place out!

Had my 41st high school mountain high reunion sept 30, had dinner earlier there, was delicious n great service! Linsey was our waitress for dinner n reunion in the bar area! She was great! Definitely will go back! N great atmosphere! Thnk u Linsey

The staff was so lively and personable. Gorgeous views while having a luncheon, majority of the tables are conveniently in the shade. I had the ahi nachos and fish tacos... love them both. Really 0 complaints, even their indoor design aesthetic was industrial yet bright with natural light. Added some photos of our menu picks.

McLoone's Boathouse is a great spot to grab a bite! Their muscles with garlic sauce are absolutely delicious, packed with amazing flavors that will leave you wanting more. And don't miss out on their tasty Negroni drink—it's definitely worth a try. The atmosphere at the restaurant is really nice, creating a cool and relaxed vibe.

One thing that makes the experience even better is the friendly service. The service at the bar is nice. The staff in general are attentive and helpful, adding a personal touch to your visit. You'll definitely have a great time

We recently delivered our champagne wall for a business event and the team at McLoone’s were prompt to guiding us to the right area. Place has very nice views and the food looked delicious. The room we delivered was great for baby showers, bridal parties and medium size gatherings. Amazing tall high ceilings and fireplace !!

We got married at McLoone's this weekend and everything was perfect! The staff fully embraced our non-traditional theme, the food was fantastic, and the whole evening went so smoothly. Janice was our event coordinator and she was amazing to work with. She made the planning process easy and fun. Can't say enough great things about the whole experience and especially about Janice!

Great view of water, warm fire places, yummy food. Note at the afternoon time we went in December the sun was a little blinding sitting right next to window, a table one row further in is better. Also a good park for 3-10 year olds a short walk from there.

My school has used McLoone's for three years in a row due to their outstanding food, service, and customer support. JANICE has been our amazing contact, we love working with her! We recently had our holiday party of over 200 guests and Janice was around the entire evening ensuring the night was a success. Bonus for McLoone's is the extensive parking availability!

First time since pre-pandemic- weird saying that but it was as expected. Great food, decent atmosphere and service. Ordered ribeye and was definitely happy with the choice. It came with asparagus and potatoes gratin - delicious! I recommend enjoying McLoone’s

McLoone’s boathouse is a good place to hear live music and have good eats. The staff is great and the food comes out quick. Everything is as it should be here. The atmosphere is spacious and low lit. They have a deck outback where they have live music and a fire pit. I recommend coming here for a nice chill evening. And a glass of wine…

My first time eating here and it was a wonderful experience! Sat outside on the balcony overlooking the water with a nice breeze and my good friend Ken. Our waitress was very polite and attentive to our needs. Allowed us to order our appitizer before ordering our lunch and didn't rush us. The food was amazing and I would highly recommend McLoone's Boathouse for an amazing dining experience!

I've always wanted to dine here and decided to make it the dining choice this year for my birthday celebration. The service was exceptional, our server Junias went above and beyond to make it a special occasion indeed ❤🎉 The entire staff was very pleasant, food was great and the restaurant has a beautiful ambiance!

This place is really classy and the food is fresh and well portioned. Our server was more than helpful and there are others that assisted. We're definitely going back to this place sometime soon. John was our server and I can't say enough praise about him because he is super nice super humble and he was really good at suggesting what I should do when I was confused.
