A very friendly and helpful staff, a great and varied selection of Spanish books, large print books, fiction, as well as philosophy, psychology, religion, African American Studies, and teen and reference sections. There is a self-checkout, a computer lab, and social events. The security are nice. If you go to the fourth floor, the view of the Hudson Waterfront is breathtaking. It is right next to Lionsgate Studios and a beautiful park with the Sawgrass River flowing through it. The train station to go to Manhattan or northward is right by the library. The Hudson River is a mere five minute walk.

It was way to get my library card today and I'm so glad I did it! All you need is an ID and proof of address. There are also a nice array of activities that the library seems to sponsor including summer stem programs, grab and go crafts and tutoring! There's also a literacy solutions program which provides reading and language comprehension for community members! There are computer labs to use for those with library cards and the art exhibit by Elvira Clayton on the fourth floor was awe inspiring and thought provoking (and open to all). I'm excited to continue visiting my local library! The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable in helping me find the books that I need. They communicate throughout the floors too to make sure you're getting the books you need. There are four floors; in the fourth floor staircase you have a beautiful view of the running river below.

The collection of books here aren't that notable, but this is still a fabulous place to spend time. It has beautiful views of the waterfront, plenty of seating, helpful staff, and even an art gallery on the top floor. The views are definitely the highlight -- one of the best places I've had the ability to work from outside my home in the last few years. Highly recommended.

Visiting this location was a great idea. It appears a clean, safe environment.

Parking is tricky.

I would return. the storytelling was fun. It was also playful for the children because after every book ended, the children sang and dance to a song or two. The staff was engaging and friendly.

I'm sure other activities will be fun because the space is there to accommodate families. There's lots of satisfaction. There's plenty of space available facilities like working restroom computer station quite room and of course a variety books and media to choose from.

There are nice librarians that provide good resources. Also they do a lot of educational programs for children and teens. This is the library where you can have study groups in study rooms. They are very conscious of others for the rooms as well.

Update: The libraries are very helpful and they help you with whatever technical problems you are having. The have a good Tech Drop program every Mondays and Fridays take advantage of that.

My 5-year-old son got his first library card and he loved the experience. My nephews were also in tow. They've never been to the library. We explored and read books together. They are looking forward to visit again.

Registration for a new card was a sweet no-hassle snap at the main branch. A reprise visit to one of the branches also welcoming and all facilities including computer automation center a no-hassle experience to access (after reservation successfully completed) to all databases. New and other staff recommended offerings, some incredible selections (must-reads) also well presented. Public notices neatly posted, including learning and other opportunities and community info with sister organizations and institutions. More than adequate parking and access to public transit. Complete, warm, and, we overheard others say, a radical experience, to be return again.

First of all this place has 4floors!!!
It’s really spacious and well organized.
The staff is incredibly polite and respectful (on a Saturday morning! So you know they’re always this nice!)
On the 4th floors where the adult area is, is very quiet. High cealings. Open concept room. The view is beautiful. The studying area is well distributed with group tables and a few individual desks each with charging station.
The bathrooms are super clean! They actually smell pleasant.
The 2nd floor is the kids floor where they have all of the kids books and computers where kids can actually play on the computers! They also have a few studying rooms, which is pretty impressive.
They have a TV with announcements, children activities during the week.
I was very impressed by this library. I will definitely be coming back and bringing my children to the activities!
PS. They do not have parking. Street parking is $1/hr and the traffic police does patrol frequently.

Clean and quiet. Only thing lacking is adequate plugs at desk. Overall it is a good library...

An awesome Yonkers resource. This is a beautiful space. The offer such a variety of quality activities for all ages. A movie theater- are you kidding me? It's great to know that on a lazy rainy day you get go to this branch and feel like you have had a worth while day. This library has extended weekend hours and children have free access to cool perks like abc mouse, lego club, and art classes.

If its warm when you visit, take advantage of the area. Go for a stroll by the waterfront, visit the science barge, and grab a bite to eat.

An beautiful library that has amazing views of the Hudson River while you relax and read. This library is well kept and has couple of convenient services like a notary service. The library also hosts cool events occasionally such as film festivals.

I use the Will and the downtown libraries which are so much more than the word suggests. Our libraries are active community social and educational centers that are vital to those they serve. The staff at both of these libraries are dedicated, hard working caring and personable. All the libraries in Westchester County are very fine but I am particularly proud of the Yonkers libraries because of all the services they provide that truly help our world become a better place.

The gem of Getty Square. Has a monster selection of books, CDS, and videos. Also has a great view of the Hudson River. Have many computers in room, and young adult section. There is computer classes, and special events for kids, including Sunday afternoon movies
