Raymond's

A friend brought me here for lunch and I loved it! I got the avocado toast with poached eggs and it was delicious. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The decor and environment was great as well. I will be back whenever I am in the area again. Thank you(:

When you enter Raymond's you feel as though you have gone back in time to an earlier, less stressed time. White ceramic wall tiles, tin plate ceiling and service. Did I say great service, because that is what our table of 7 received, 3 children, four adults. Everyone got what they ordered and everyone finished their delicious breakfasts.
When we visit family in Ridgewood we always visit Raymond's.

This place is amazing. The ambiance is very nice. It's an old feeling restaurant, but it doesn't feel rundown. It's very well kept. The menu is impressive and unique. Their brunch menu was particularly interesting and unexpected. I ordered the Mexican Burrito Bowl and I was pleasantly surprised with it.
The service was so good, everyone is very nice and attentive.

I went by as a emergency breakfast purchased after having a long night with my baby being feverish,and to my surprise I bumped into a gem , definitely 💯 coming back to take family,date with my husband or to impress friends the price was awesome , kid's menu is well built for kids ,I was even surprised how pretty it is inside since I never been ,I've had issues finding a place knows how to make good pancakes 🥞 and their potatoes,let me tell you super delicious,people super nice be nice to get treated nice 🙂 totally recommend thank you for taking care of my family meal with so much care and delicious food.

Raymond's truly impressed me with their delectable burger that left my taste buds dancing with delight. The setting was equally enchanting, as I chose to sit outside to soak up the sun while comfortably shaded under an umbrella. The beautiful weather elevated the experience, making it a meal to remember.

To complement the burger, I couldn't resist trying their buffalo wings. These wings were a revelation - thick, meaty, and generously coated in a flavorful buffalo sauce. Each wing was a satisfying indulgence, and they paired perfectly with the burger.

We went for a Sunday brunch. You have to be there before 11 else it gets very crowded and wait time to be seated can be an hour. Service and food is good , as to be expected from any good joints in ridgewood. It does not disappoint ever. I absolutely love the Avocado toast , grilled cheese and waffles here !

My kids had the mac and cheese and the raymonds french toast. Mac and cheese was perfectly crusted and not burnt, cooked nicely that its not salty and amazingly not a sign of greasy oil. The french toast was to die for. Rich and fluffy on the inside, perfectly moist, and sugar was nicely crusted on the outside. I had the fish tacos, very light and doesnt have that funny fishy taste. Lmao. Overall was a good experience. Highly recommended. Just allow from the wait time and getting served maybe an hour.

Raymond’s is great! Super friendly staff, great food, classic menu and a really cool interior design. Our waitress was incredible && our entire dining experience was comfortable. My favorite part of the meal was the Alabama White BBQ Sauce wings that we had as an appetizer — they were super tasty! Will be coming back =]

Went here on a Monday night was quiet. Service was very good, food was very good but they were out of a couple things. Price is good for Ridgewood. Byob

The food was very good and pricing was reasonable. The waiter spoke Spanish and English, which was very helpful for one of our guests. Our seating was a little cramped. Street parking might be tough to find, but apparently there is a parking lot behind the restaurant.

Great place to have breakfast in Ridgewood. When walked in you immediately had the feel of an old time diner. It was decorated with charm and we were immediately greeted by a very polite and welcoming hostess. We were there on a Friday morning and sat immediately. Almost all of the tables were full but the service was fast and the food was amazing. We started with coffee, which was hot and flavorful. All three breakfasts were cooked to order. I had a custom omelet, my daughter Courtney, had the French Toast and her husband Mike had the Huevos Rancheros. All of the plates looked as good as they tasted. The service was excellent and no one tried to rush us out. I definitely recommend going to Raymond's it is worth the trip.

One of my all time favorite restaurants in Ridgewood.!!! Located in downtown Ridgewood, it's a great place in a really cool town to walk around.

Everything there is fresh and there are plenty of lunch, dinner and breakfast choices to pick from!! All the ingredients were super fresh.

Nice widely spaced tables outside. The first table we sat at was terribly wobbly. The waitress even said that it was a problem with that table. Don't know why they still have it. Anyway, the food was excellent. Wife got the Mexican bowl and I got the steak and eggs. I asked for the steak to be cooked medium well and it was cooked perfectly. Great seasoning and char to the steak. The eggs and potatoes were just right. Both dishes were just simple and fresh ingredients that were cooled well. I also thought that everything was reasonably priced, which is rare. We will definitely be back.

Their breakfast is amazing. I haven't had any other meals there, but I expect it to be no-less-than perfection 👌 The atmosphere is very warm and inviting, too. I definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a reliably delicious meal and quality service.

Great customer service! I’m vegan and they created a breakfast burrito especially for me that’s not on the menu! I love their vegan chili but really wish they’d add more vegan options

Update (July 2021):

Finally, I got to try their lunch menu items, which starts after 11am. Surprisingly on a Sunday noon time, we got a table within 10 minutes of waiting. As usual, the restaurant was packed. But the service was efficient, so they were able to turn around empty tables pretty fast, and keep the lines short.

This time I tried the smoked chicken wings and Spiced Ahi Tuna Burger (with extra fried egg) from the lunch menu. The chicken wings tasted good with a mix of sauce. I felt the wings could have been little bit more moist. But I was throughly impressed with my Ahi Tuna Burger. All the ingredients, including the fried egg, came together so nicely. There was no smell of any fish. The paddy was filled with Ahi tuna. The other layer of the paddy is well cooked, but the middle part is somewhat smoked pink.

Since we were in Ridgewood on weekday morning, we decided to try Raymond’s since we always see a huge waiting line in the weekends. It wasn’t really busy when we walked in, got seats right away. I must say the interior is gorgeous. Booth and tables were throughly cleaned.
The brunch menu is short and refined. I was happy to see they focus on limited number of items, rather than offering 100 different dishes. We tried Egg Benedict and Mexican Burrito bowl. Both dishes were delicious. I was especially ecstatic with the Mexican Burrito bowl, as I found the dish very well made, with the ingredients they picked to put in the bowl together. Double pouched eggs added little extra delight to it.
I tried to order the “Up Down” burger from special menu, but I was told it’s not served until 11 am. Seems like will have to visit them again durning lunch hours.
Overall we had a wonderful experience, with all servers being very humble and caring to us.

Went for Father's Day! Very slow service, but it's to be expected because of the volume of people going out to eat! Our waiter Sergio was really nice. We enjoyed the food, french toast, pancakes, and eggs benedict with salmon. The oat milk latte and regular latte were very tasty. Suggest for a nice al fresco breakfast!

Best breakfast food I’ve had in a while. Service was great and I absolutely love the vibe. Parking isn’t hard to get and isn’t expensive (street parking). Bathrooms are downstairs and is super clean.

Had a great brunch experience here! Everything was tasty. The pancakes were very soft and moist!

Went here for casual brunch. Nicely appointed place with history. Interesting short menu with some good options for a health conscious person. A bit pricey, but considering current situation - quite bearable.
