Brasserie Tenafly

This has to be one of the best restaurants in Tenafly. Salads are always on point. Schnitzel is the best I’ve ever had. Make sure to pay attention to the weekly specials because the chef always has a few tricks up his sleeve. Do not sleep on those apps. :)

Every time I come home to tenafly I stop by to grab a salad. They can’t be beat! The pasta and tuna tartar are great also. The staff is really nice and helpful, and the restaurant is very clean.

My friend and I came in here for lunch. Eduardo, our host, showed us to an awesome seat in the window. The food was delicious and served right away. I must note that I ordered the broccoli cheddar quiche but Eduardo came out and told me that the broccoli didn't look right and asked me if I wanted something else. I ordered the spinach and Swiss quiche instead. I also ordered the fries which were yummers!

I highly recommend Brasserie Tenafly. The service and the food cannot be beat!

Gets really busy for lunch. They have a good menu and the food is always good. I've been here brunch, lunch, and dinner and it's always great. I've never had a bad experience. The waitstaff is really nice and friendly.

Tenafly has many nice cute restaurants, and one of them is Brasserie, located in Washington Ave.

The interior presents nice red leather-like covered booths, with outdoors extension - sidewalk - terrace. Either a lunch with your girlfriends or a late romantic dinner, this place is accommodating nicely.

The food is wonderfully tasty, the portions are generous, the staff is amazing, and the prices are more than reasonable.

The mussels in white wine sauce and garlic are served in a huge bowl accompanied by fresh bread. The Cezar salad is served with crunchy walnuts, ricotta chease, french fries in a cone, and ketchup.
After this regale feast, one cannot skip a fantastic dessert. The vanila ice cream with caramel sauce and shreaded halva is the house's statement, and the freshly baked apple pie served with vanila ice cream, whipped cream, all drizzled with caramel sauce are a hit.

I am always happy to give credit where credit is due.

This is a hidden gem in Tenafly. Celebrated my mom’s 66th birthday last night. The space, service and food were all A+++. Thank you for accommodating us all party of 12 (including kids). Rolando and his manager went above and beyond to make this celebration a very memorable one. Thank you!

Really top quality tasting food. Super kind people too. Easily best take out in Tenafly. Environment inside is very family friendly.

Excellent quality- the turkey tastes fresh carved. Mayo dijion avacado cranberries bread - everything is fresh & delicious. When you take out you can really taste the quality.

My dad and I love to have dinners here when we’re in town visiting a family friend. The polenta appetizer is a must-order and if you’re lucky enough to meet Eduardo there, he is the best. There’s also a wine store across the street where you can pick up a bottle that they will uncork and serve with your dinner. (Ask Tony at the wine shop for recommendations if he’s working.) Tenafly is such a cute town and the people have been so friendly to us midwesterners. Seriously, order the polenta!

This was my boyfriends favorite location for breakfast and this man loves his breakfast. The salad that came with the dish had a great lemon sauce and the rest of the food and coffee was delicious. I highly recommend. The setting is beautiful too. I definitely recommend if in the area.

This place always offers house fresh made unique pasta with braised short ribs must have and also great healthy choices phenomenal salads.

Food was good tonight, generous portions and a very gracious server. Fresh branzino with asparagus was well cooked. My husband had a excellent burger as well.

We had a good experience at the Brasserie. Ordered "chop chop" salad which was very generous in terms of portion and otherwise a good dish. The staff was kind, and the service was quick. Not expensive. They had outdoor seating.

Restaurant offered both indoor and outdoor seating. Inside had both booth and table seating. The restaurant only has street parking. We went for brunch around 11-12pm on a Sunday and we were seated fairly quickly.
The menu is on the smaller side with roughly about fifteen items to choose from. The items ranged from omelets to a shakshuka like dish to sandwiches. Substitutions for some items were easily made and many of the dishes allowed for additions for things like smoked salmon.Everything we got tasted fresh. The frozen mint lemonade while about $5 was worth getting. The portions were satisfying and for the most part you can finish your plate without needing to take anything home.

I just love the place. My go-to restaurant to meet with clients and friends for a lunch or cup of coffee. My favorite dish is Chicken Chop Chop salad. The portion is so generous and it's so delicious.
