Merve's Kitchen and Bakery

I’m so lucky with the job I have that I’m able to eat at a different places on different towns , even different states ( NY/NJ) every day, and this particular spot made me feel so comfortable, so welcome, hard to described but it made me feel like I had been here dozen of times.
anyways, the service west excellent I order something very simple scrambled eggs with cheese and crispy and it was cooked to perfection, I suggestion will be if they can have the coffee a little more hot. but overall, I still give them five stars.

Adorable hidden gem with friendly service. The breakfast was a 10/10 and so beautifully plated too. The pancakes are uniquely and especially delicious. Highly recommend!

I had the most wonderful experience here, i made a order of cookies for my boyfriend online and because I'm out of the country the owner was able to bring the cookies to my boyfriend's house. She baked the tastiest and most delicious peanut butter cookies and also wrote a lovely note on the box as my request. Very kind and sweet woman and amazing service. Thank you so much Merve's Kitchen. I'm very pleased and i definitely will recommend you stop by and try it or order online! You will not be disappointed

Love and grateful to have Merve’s cozy local cafe right here in town. She and her husband and her staff are genuinely nice people and her creations pretty to look at. My child has taken many a summer baking camp and asks to do it again.

Good customer service and quality stuff for breakfast

My husband and I went for breakfast and really enjoyed the good wholesome food and the relaxing atmosphere. I had the shakshuka, which was fabulous. But, the best surprise of all was the perfect Turkish coffee. I can't wait to go back the next time we are in Glen Rock.

We love Merve's. We have had her do our kids birthday cakes for a number of years and they are always imaginative, beautiful and most importantly delicious!

Nice people & fantastic salad with figs & warm halloumi

Two eggs perfectly over easy paired with a simit (circular bread roll with sesame seeds), wonderful start to my day. The way each layer of the simit untwisted to give me that next yummy tool with which to scoop up the yolk was magical. So much better than just bread or a bagel. Simits are new to me. I'll be back soon.
