Love the flavor of the tangs. The pork rib soup - Gam Ja Tang had several meaty pieces of pork that paired very well with the chilly weather and rice. The bulgogi soup also was a favorite for the kids and additional side dishes were offered without hesitation. Place is tight but tables seem to move in and out rather quickly. A repeat restaurant for sure!

The spicy intestine soup made by this street shop is really delicious. I've been to Koreatown, New York, but they don't have it there!

Only here, this restaurant has very authentic Korean snacks. We sit in the dining room, and each table will be turned over several times!

The boss always stands there and pays attention to what happens at every table. There are not only Koreans here, but also people in various languages, so this is enough to prove that it is of high quality! Recommended!

Good Korean food, best gamja tang I have had in the area. The stews are really good, and I love the kimchi here. This place is crowded often and really popular, so parking could be a problem as there is no parking lot and no ample space for parking in the area. Other than that, no complaints, price is also reasonable.

This place has the best jok bal (pork feet) in Fort Lee/Cliffside Park.

Also recommend their pork bone soup with potatoes - it's hearty and not too spicy, yet full of flavors. However it's not the best I've had.

Price is fair and service is friendly. Plenty of parking in the plaza nearby. May need to wait on weekends.

Best Korean soul food restaurant in the US East Coast. Too popular and too crowded, so no need to elaborate further. However, this is NOT for non-Korean trying out Korean food for the first time.

We came all the way from NYC to try this place. Totally worth the trip! Highly recommend the grilled mackerel, spicy intestine soup with soybean, and the steamed pork feet! So good! Even the tea was delicious! Service was friendly and attentive. If you’re vegetarian or vegan, this place is not for you because every dish has meat.

One of the most authentic Korean restaurants in the area. All my friends (Korean and not) love the stews, and the kimchi is delicious. The only real vegetarian option is bimbimbap, but it’s amazing and I happily get it every time

Amazing Korean food!! The famous Pork knee bone broth is unparallel. The son du bu is yummy. The stirfry intestine is amazingly soft and tasty. The steam pork (number 3) is soft, juicy, and decadent. The soy bean sauce that comes with it is out of this world. We love the ramen too.

I had bibimbop and grilled mackerel. Both were delicious.
The portions were large. I hesitated going in a few other times I was in the area only because I didn't care for bright fluorescent lighting.
I'm glad I finally decided to try the food. I'll be back to try the other dishes.

Reminded better tasting when dining, hot inside 뚝배기 pot.

돼지국밥, 순대국, 해내탕 all good.

Food super and service adequate.

But, noticed bathroom rundown. Toilet papers piled up. Aisles full of boxes, floors greasy... complacency perhaps?

This place is already a famous one in Fort Lee. So I hope my experience can add value for your visit. The popular dishes are really good: steamed pork feet, hot pot with spicy pork rib soup with potatoes, oxbone soup (all are the same taste with different ingredients), grilled spicy pork. Be aware that Saturday night is really busy, we waited about 40 minutes but it's worth the wait - we got a private space near the counter which is great as we have a 1.5 year old. Also, the oxbone soup is ready good for our 1.5 year old. She remained quiet for a long time when she was enjoying the soup.

Made a day trip from NYC and this was one of my highlights. I feel like it’s hard to find good, homestyle casual korean food in Manhattan and this really hit the spot. I have been craving soondaeguk (which has been pretty hard to find) and this was definitely up there in terms of stews that I have tried in my life. Food was flavourful without being overly salty or MSG-y whatsoever. Kimchi was also fantastic which was a good sign. The bossam was also extremely tender and delicious.

Great place for their stews, soups, and the grilled mackerel. I crave that ox bone soup with the cartilage, so comforting, warm and just good. Their grilled mackerel is fatty in the right way so flavorful.

Great spot for seolleongtang! Their grilled mackerel is also great, they fillet one side so it’s easy to pick out any bones. Recommend the flank soup rather than brisket.

The combo soup + mackerel is a good deal for a lot of food.

You don’t come here for the atmosphere. Just no frills amazing food. Hands down favorite authentic restaurant in the area and better than most places in Manhattan.

Got take out for the first time and it was great! The kimchi jjigae was super delicious and had lots of big pieces of tofu, kimchi, scallions, and pork. My boyfriend loved the Hae Jang ramen, and said it had a flavorful broth. Our food also came with 2 sides of rice and banchan.

Unassuming Korean eatery with some grandma’s dishes. I enjoyed both the spicy pork rib soup with potato and the grilled mackerel. Would love to come back and try the bibimbap and the steamed pork feet dish;)

I come here so often and love their food so much I make myself first than camera. I eat first here and realized I don’t have many photos of the food. Love dumplings soup, kimchi stew, grilled mackerel, blood sausage, steamed port feet, spicy chicken soup, boiled beef and more!

💯💯💯 our go-to spot. Super bummed they were out of gamja tang when we went, but we got over it pretty quick 🤣. BYOB too!
