Giannella's Subs

We order from here at least once a month. Usually breakfast sandwiches on a weekend, but sometimes lunch too. Everything I've ever gotten from Giannella's has been so good! It's one of my favorite food places in this area.

A neighborhood icon. The bread makes the sandwich, as they say, and they use fresh baked bread of their sister business in Paterson (though it has different owners these days). You cannot beat the value, service, freshness of anything on their menu. Please don't change.

The food is outstanding! Everything is fresh and delicious. As for their portions, you definitely have plenty for leftovers. The staff does an amazing job and so friendly. I absolutely love this place and recommend coming in and seeing for yourself.

Fast friendly service. Portion sizes are great for the price. My sub was so delicious! My new go to spot for a good cold sub craving.

AMAZING!!! We had family and friends over for a Gender reveal party so we decided to order from Giannella's. SO GLAD WE DID! We ordered a 3' sub, each 1' was a different sub. 1' was grilled chicken with fresh mozz, roasted peppers and balsamic, another was breaded eggplant, fresh mozz, tomatoes, roasted peppers and balsamic and the last was italian. ALL were SO delicious and the bread is the best we've ever had. We also ordered a 1/2 tray of penne vodka and mini cannoli's which were delicious as well. Anytime we host, we always have leftovers but not this time!! We highly suggest Giannella's and we can't wait to use them again!

Outstanding sandwiches. Rolls are fresh and ingredients are great. You will wait a bit but it is very much worth it.

Ice cream is fantastic. Subs are delicious. Great service. A true blue family spot. And right near the train station, which is convenient. Perfect for train spotting with kids.

This place is AMAZING!!! The staff are super nice a d the sandwiches are to die for. My favorite speciality sub is the ROCKEFELLER 👌 *chef kisses*

If you're in the area, probably one of the more affordable options considering the quality of the menu and everything being made to order. If you're in a hurry call ahead and swing over to pick it up.

Dont sleep on the specialty sandwiches - the Mona Lisa Vito is my favorite and now that I'm out of area I'll be missing it. Picture included, because that sandwich was my ride or die.

Busy in the mornings after roughly 8, but the folks who work there are pros and it never feels too long.

Best Italian combo(needs roasted peppers tho), cheese steak, & general Italian deli food in NJ! While I was there, there were several customers having breakfast and it looked so good I wanted to try them all! Will be going back as much as possible

Good subs at good prices, the portions aren't anything to laugh at either.

Best cheese steak around hands down. We often go there for lunch just for the steak sandwiches. 😋

I have been going to Giannella's for about 2 months once a week. The service is always friendly and the sandwiches are great. My only gripe with the Italian sub is that they are so good that it is hard to try other subs! The Mona Lisa was also excellent (when I finally tried it). The place reminds me of old school family owned Brooklyn delis. Happy to live near this place.

I just had a bacon, Taylor ham, egg and cheese on an everything bagel and it was quite possibly the best sandwich I’ve ever had. I’ve been going to Gianella’s since I moved to the area four years ago and it’s stellar every time. Great and fresh food and even better service. This place is a Glen Rock institution.

Best deli around! Large portion subs at a great price with the best Italian bread! Everything on their menu is excellent. The store is large and clean. People are very friendly. It's not easy to find a smiling face behind a deli counter in NJ.

Great experience every time we go there. Food is always good, all the sandwiches are winners (all top quality products) especially the cheesesteak! Their Ice cream and sweet stuff are a added bonus! Definite asset to the community and are always improving and finding ways to do things better- oh and very reliable catering and packed lunch services too!

I stopped into this deli since I was in the area. First time there for me. I didn’t know what to order but the guy that helped me was super nice. I got a cheesesteak and a chicken cutlet sandwich. Both were amazing! Everyone there were super nice. Prices were great. I will be back! Oh and I took a cheesesteak back home for my mom and she loved it! Their bread was fresh and delicious! Thank you for a great sandwich!

Can never go wrong with any purchase here and the people behind the counter are always so helpful and pleasant. My top sandwiches are the Mona Lisa Vito and the Yankee clipper. Never fails any time!
