The Italian Touch Deli

This place has been an institution in Township, the original owner grew up with my mother and when he heard that my parents brought me home he sent catering for everyone that was over. It changed hands and Gus took over, he kept the original crew and recipes. Fieldworker egg sandwiches have been a Sunday morning favorite forever and it will not be the same in town without Italian Touch. Also they can not be beat when it comes to a classic slice of pizza, all the dough and bread came from a bakery in Garfield that does it right. I guess everyone feels this way about their corner deli, but the true local feel of this place will be missed.

We love Italian Touch here. We have been using them for years and have never had an issue with them. Everything they make is truly delicious and their presentation is eye-candy. i wish I could give them 100 stars! Mike - Gus and crew are the best!!! Love, Claudia!

One of my favorite restaurants, of all time. Have been going there since I was born, and every time I fly in from Ohio, it's on my lists of must-dos. The food is delicious, always more than you can eat and gives you leftovers. The men that work there are so kind, funny, and create a lovely atmosphere.

Great cup of coffee and got the (field worker) egg sandwich. Scrambled eggs, potatoes, Taylor ham and cheese on a toasted buttered round roll! Fantastic and super filling! Can't wait to try other food, it all looks great!

It's hard to find a deli that has good options for vegetarians, but this place blows everyone else out of the water with their House Special Focaccia bread sandwich with eggplant, roasted red peppers, fresh mozzarella, and fresh basil. Get it toasted with balsamic, and the amazing flavors will get you coming back for more. Don't expect much as far as atmosphere -- it's your typical NJ deli. The counter staff are friendly, and they have a few small tables if you don't opt for take out.

This local icon has the best dishes. Great Italian food and pastries from arthur ave. If you need a dose of real NY Italian this is your place. Also catering is excellent
