Matto Espresso

Love this place. Order in the app and the drinks are only three bucks. The pistachio muffin is the best I’ve ever had. I’m addicted to this place. No more $8 drinks from Starbucks.

I come by here for work all the time. Newton makes the best drinks, and holds down this establishment like none other. He is so fast that even when there is a line he gets it done so quickly that I'm always amazed when I get to the front and he's the only one there! And he is still a smiling and pleasant individual even under stress! When I come there is laid back afrobeats playing and even during a stressful day the combination of newton's happiness and smile and island music playing puts me in a good mood. Matto is a chain but I hope they do not become so corporate that they require awful music. Also, we need to pay people like Newton more-- he is the reason people pick this place in the neighborhood!

This Matto location is my first to discover but also my favorite! The location is great, has seating available inside, and while small is well designed. Can sit and eat or take to go as you please.

Mobile ordering is a Matto pillar, and this location always succeeds. Rarely do I enter having to wait for my order, it's often waiting for me, even with a little treat (check it out!) on top.

Much of this is thanks to the main barista here, who is often by himself but is always kind and efficient. Greets regulars by their name with a smile, works quickly, and always prepares items perfectly!

100% would recommend to anyone in the area. None of this mentions the extraordinary fact that most items are $2.50 when ordered through the app. Incredible!

Tried the blueberry muffin, pistachio muffin, iced latte, avocado croissant, and banana date drink. All good definitely would come back. Pistachio muffin and banana date were definitely highlight for me.

Great coffee place, the quality of the coffee is really good and a lot of customisation options, such as plant based milk. Tried a few pastries and they were all good.

Love their unsweetened raspberry iced tea. The staff is always friendly and the atmosphere here is a little more relaxing than other coffee shops. Everything is $2, which is very cool. Pastries taste great as well. They offer kosher cuisine (sandwiches, etc.) also.

I got this liquid hot chocolate and it changed my life. Truly delicious. Plus, everything here is $2, never going to Starbucks again. The banana walnut loaf, coffee cake, and latte were also fantastic. They had wifi and was a nice early morning spot before it gets busy later in the day.

Amazing tarts au chocolate. So great I'm renamed antatarte au chocolat by my boyfriend. Its a new great item I enjoy. Also the focaccia and brownie with shaved chocolat on top. Its a lot of good things there with healthy choices option.

Love the guy working here he’s been here for a couple years and I always come in. He makes it great. .. the other girl on the other hand. Very upset with she doesn’t give you what you ordered and I don’t taste no love .

Nice spot! Used the app to order, was quick to setup and then all items were 2$, great value! The order was ready by the time I walked there. The matcha almond latte was nice, and the blueberry muffin was huge, could definitely be shared by two people! The cafe looked clean, and the barista was friendly when picking up.

The place is smaller without seating but no matter, the lady who helped me today around 1:50pm Is knowledgeable, kind, vibrant, and with great energy. I needed to purchase 2 items to use my card but she gave me a voucher card to redeem my 2nd coffee for free!! On my next visit which was no pressure to choose another item which is great since I only came in for some tea!
Everyone feel free to enjoy their coffee too since I have also had this on my prior trips and is amazing in taste!. since I'm usually nearby,!!! The owner should be proud I will continue returning since everything bin the store is 2.72 !!!! Such a low price c:
