I had my contractors request a lot of paint Thursday afternoon, I got a request in, via the website, to the paint dept. that evening. They got the paint to me by 9am the next day and coordinated with another Ace for the remaining paint they couldn't provide in time. House completed by the end of the weekend, thanks Ace!

They are the absolute best! Will greet you everytime and ask you what you came in for and help you find it. No searching around for help. They are also helpful problem solving and with tips on what to do. Been coming here for years and will continue for many, many more!

Make this guy the manager of customer service and just maybe the others will be genuine and helpful.

If you need nuts/bolts/screws/washers/virtually any kind of small part like that, they have rows and rows of bins full of about anything you can think of. I don't even think about going anywhere else. The staff is super friendly and helpful. 7 stars out of 5 at least. I worry I'm not paying enough cause they always have what I need and I want them to be in business for a very very long time. Really, I want to give them more money. What does that tell you.

Love this place. The staff is friendly and super knowledgeable. If they can't answer your question they won't try to fake it (*cough* home derpo) but will find someone who can. Great local hardware store with a nice little garden center. I can usually find what I need here for home improvement, I love not having to go to the big box stores. Bought a grill from them recently, and assembly/delivery was so much cheaper and low stress than the big guys. Thanks!

I truly hate going to the hardware store because I typically know little to nothing about what it is I'm trying to do and what I need. I went to Woodstock Ace Hardware & Garden twice this weekend, just because I happened to be nearby. Both times, I was approached immediately by employees offering to help. Both times, because of their help, I was able to quickly get what I needed. I then wandered around the store and found that they have a little bit of everything and it's not at all intimidating. I eavesdropped on a conversation between what was obviously a regular customer and an employee while they discussed pros and cons of different products, and it all just felt exactly like a neighborhood hardware store should feel! In the future, I will happily drive 20 minutes out of my way to come here so that I don't feel overwhelmed and stupid.

Love this place. Staff are very friendly and very eager to help. Nice selection of tools and other things you would expect to find in neighborhood hardwares store. Their garden center is pretty nice to. They are dog friendly and are always happy to see Lulu.

The staff is always super friendly and helpful, and has always had someone on duty with the knowledge to answer my questions. I've never been into the store without being asked at least once if I needed assistance with something. Well stocked for a small store, they have a good selection for all your hardware needs, I've been there for several different projects. Their secret outdoor/garden section in the back is lovely also.

Ace has a wonderful all-around selection with a nice range of green/eco-friendly products. They have a great garden section. The staff are very friendly and helpful as always happy to load things into your car when needed.

Went for a couple specific bolts, and they were all so helpful as soon as I walked in the door. They had exactly what I needed and when it came to 50 cents and didn't have anything but a credit card they said don't worry about it and just gave them to me. (Next time I go in, and there will definitely be a next time, I'll pay them back, but won't forget how awesome they were.)

Great staff, very helpful and friendly. Greeted me at the door with a smile and helped me with cutting down a couple screws I needed special. Huge selection of items and could have sold me new ones but I really just wanted these cut down so that's what they did. I very much appreciate the "what does the customer need" attitude. Highly recommend this location to anyone in the area! Thanks guys

I've come here before to buy plants from their nursery, and to get gardening supplies. The staff here is always very friendly and are happy to provide help or let you browse at your leisure. The plants that I've purchased have been healthy and the prices are reasonable.

Once again these guys delivered! I went in with a picture of a kitchen sink drainage mess, and Jordan assessed the problem and gave me the perfect fittings and guidance to fix the problem. Highly recommended.

I'm not sure if the amazing garden section has it's own name or is just another section at Woodstock Hardware, but never have I been so impressed with a nursery (or garden center, etc.) in my life. The level of care given to each plant is evidenced in how vibrant and healthy they are. There's a truly magical little place behind this hardware store. It's a secret (well not so secret anymore) sanctuary for me. There's a refreshingly diverse range of plants which makes this spot even more unique. Anyway, the air was fragrant, the staff is always very friendly and informative. If you have a love for gardening, I think this is a nursery definitely worth checking out.

Really reliable basic neighborhood hardware store. Great array of what you need, from paint to wheelbarrows to nuts and bolts. And if they don't have it (like some flooring stuff I needed once), they know where you can get it. Friendly, well-staffed which is a huge plus, a solid, all around, go-to spot for all the non-lumber items for yard and home repair projects.

We went to get some epoxy for a project. Currently customers wait outside and the items are brought out to them by employees. Thank you to the young man that went back and forth 3 times trying to find what we needed.They did not have the right epoxy, but we really appreciate the patience and support provided. Love this place! I go here about twice a month (or more in the summer) and always find what I'm looking for. The people are friendly and a great resource. The place feels very much like the neighborhood family hardware store of yesteryear. I love to grab our wagon and walk up there with my 3 year old without worry of her getting lost in the store or run over by a 16 year old driving a fork-lift...big box hardware be dammed. And they also sell a fine line of artisan skate-boards. Cheers!

I go here all the time. They're always friendly and helpful and the store has most of what I need at any given point.

Today, I gave them 5 stars because I called about a problem I was having, and even though they couldn't help with it, Sawyer was ultra-nice and even referred me to a place that could help me.
