New Seasons Market - Woodstock

This location is okay but by far not the best in Portland as far as selection and parking is absolutely terrible mostly because of the Safeway across the street. Also the Safeway across the street is really stepping up their game and is highly competitive. Their selection prices and quality are just as good if possibly not better than new seasons. So if you're in the area and need to pick? Take a right not left & go to Safeway. You'll be just as pleased with the selection if not more and Incredibly pleased with the pricing. And the employees are just as friendly as new seasons but WITHOUT the extremely narrow Isles, lack of parking, and only moderately friendly staff.

I m h o- this location and Sellwood are the least favorable in the city. N. Williams location is the best, 2nd is Division. !

I'm in love with the deli food. And also the peanut curry soup with a piece of the cornbread.... oof. So yummy. I crave it every two weeks or so. If you haven't tried it, you're missing out. More for me. 😇

New Seasons is the premier grocery store I the Portland metro area. Everything is top notch, from the bakery to produce to the meat counter. A little speedy, but you get what you pay for. And the employee's are just as awesome.

It's really nice, you can get food down in the store and bring it up to enjoy. You can also get beer from the tap wine from a bottle.. If they don't have your favorite beer on tap you are allowed to order it from downstairs and they will bring it up for you to enjoy.. only down side it's "family friendly" which means only 2 drinks max. Was very family friendly today but still a nice hang out.. if you need more to drink there are many bars around to walk to..

What a cool place to shop! Even when we only need a few things we have a hard time not walking and browsing.

Nice selection of seedling veggies and herbs out front and ready to take home and plant. Super enjoy the rooftop garden to eat and catch views of Woodstock. Have yet to try their brewery on the rooftop.

They really are the nicest store in town! I'd much rather go here than any other major chain grocery. It's worth the extra $$.
The beer guy always has great suggestions when my favorite beer is out of stock. And they have a great food counter and quality produce and meat. I never feel bad about what I'm buying here.

Again, another business where I shop because nice people work there. Employees can make or break a company and I have been quick to go elsewhere in some cases. 90% of New Seasons locations I've been to don't have that vibe. I've shopped at this location since it was built. And I still ride my bicycle there from time to time, even though I don't live or work nearby anymore, if that's a testament.

And on that note, this location has underground parking, which includes a spot specifically for bicycles. I've included a photo of the funky cool art sign showing where to park and lock it up. I've locked my bike many times (it's worth a lot). It's a secure spot. And if you don't trust it, there are plenty of classic and standard sidewalk spots to lock your steel horse.

Mostly Organic Food, very well organized Grocery Store, friendly staff, clean and good location, well provisioned

I love that NS supports small local farmers and products, and the cheese selection is great. Yes, it costs more to shop for this kind of quality and sustainability, but I would rather support this than the big corporate food brands that are loaded with preservatives and unhealthy ingredients.

Lovely market that is like a small Whole Foods store. At least 50% of staff and customers wore masks. Great supply of items, including local items. Staff was helpful and friendly. Plenty of parking in the free garage. Take the stairs or elevator up. There’s some street parking too. They use paper bags. Great neighborhood store. Lucky to have it in Woodstock.

This is a really solid new seasons, and it is one of the newer ones in Portland. At first, I wondered if New Seasons would attract enough people since they already exist over on 21st, and Hawthorne but wow, this store seems to be 3 x as busy as those locations. Always clean, and always helpful, friendliest store around.

Such a great grocery store for finding new, fun and healthy foods to try out. The bakery is great. Good coffee bar. The meat department is awesome. Nice wine selection. Excellent produce. Friendly employees. The only thing I wish is that the deli would reopen to what it was before the pandemic. It's just not the same without the deli fully functional. Oh, and the samples need to make a comeback as well.

Great place to bring my laptop and work for awhile. The covered patio is large and dry. The wifi is good enough for basic things.

Grab a coffee or something from the deli downstairs or buy a couple drinks up at the "bar" and get some work done.

Covered patio is large and airy and very pleasant even on a cold day. (And it stays dry on a wet one!)

I love my neighborhood NS! Especially the salad bar and the cookie bar. The folks who work there are always friendly. Plus, they have a lovely rooftop patio where you can eat or have a beer on sunny days. Thank you for being part of our community!

I’ve shopped at various locations for over 15 years but I work at TJ’s so do the bulk of my shopping at work. I feel compelled to comment today though because I popped in for some breakfast and enjoyed some of the best food I’ve picked up in awhile, better than I get at some restaurants! I selected from the breakfast bar, some veggie scramble, sweet potato hash, and a couple slices of bacon. The bacon was cooked to perfection as were the eggs, and the hash was deliciously unique. All fresh, perfect temp and spiced beautifully. I also ordered an almond milk latte and it’s downright delicious. I haven’t had an espresso drink this yummy in a long time. Kudos to the Woodstock kitchen and cafe staff!

Associates were very helpful. Having never been before, finding the dairy free cheese was a bit difficult. The pastry/bakery area looked fantastic but I was strong and didn't buy any : )
The restrooms are on the top floor, if needed.

I love this location! The rooftop has an outdoor patio and is perfect for a meal and / or drink. They occasionally have live music on the roof. I love the hot food bar and salad bar. They will also make you burritos, stir fry dishes in the wok, and sandwiches. The employees are always friendly and helpful
