Sally Jo and Steve were fantastic to work with. They helped me buy a house from the total opposite side of the country. I was in Oregon for 48 hours and I basically told them I needed to leave with an offer in place and two backups. They made it happen, with tons of good choices lined up to see for the weekend I was here, and their advice and counsel was greatly appreciated and exactly what I needed. I called up Sally Jo and Steve when things got complicated with a house after my offer had been excepted. I wanted a second opinion since it seemed beyond my agent's experience and he was dismissive of my concerns and advising me to not ask for much. Even though they weren't my agents Sally Jo and Steve took the time to talk though all the details, validated the seriousness of the issues identified, and talked me through a detailed negotiation strategy that I was able to take back to my agent. He was skeptical, but we followed it to the letter and were able to get $50k off the original offer!!! We close tomorrow and I couldn't be more grateful that they were so generous with their skill and years of experience. It's been years since we were in a buyers market and having a team that's experienced in this type of market is absolutely priceless. I wish I could have given them the sellers agent commission. They deserved it.
