Joan of Arc Park

A compact park with an impressive, hundred year old statue honoring the young French woman Joan of Arc who played a decisive role in defeating the English during the 100’s year war. You can listen to a neat audio recording from “Joan” using your cell phone.

Beautiful pocket of a park. Close to the monument of St. Joan is a lamp post with a QR code that links you to an audio file that tells you the story behind the monument. This would be of particular interest to young women.

A nice little area with a little bit of seating and nice view of the Hudson River and Riverside park.

A nice little park to sit and relax. Situated in a peaceful locality.

They are reconstructing the stairs which I'm happy about. They were very old and tearing apart. It has been closed for a while can't wait for them to open it up again. Nice shade , peaceful and you can sit there without any problems. Sometimes the dogs can be a bit too much (for people allergic to them) a lot of dog walkers eat their lunch here.

This is one of my favorite places in New York City. It's awesome the style of this statue. I can feel almost her presence there. Joan of Arc have a beautiful and sad history in same time, like all martyrs. This Park is a little piece of Joan in New York even beyond...it's Le France in New York because watching Joan of Arc full dressed as a brave warrior riding a horse inspire you to fight for your goals in life. She was, is and will be a unique woman.

This is a small park within the larger Riverside Park. I find it to be a pleasant stopping point on my daily walk before turning around and heading back home. There are a number of Pokestops for Pokemon Go players. Now that it's Autumn it's even more pleasant to walk through.

great place to sit and read or just relax. Lots of tree coverage and people walking their dogs around the area.. Very close to Riverside Park and the volunteers do a great job keeping it clean and planting flowers to make it very welcoming.

I live closer to CPW but I do enjoy walking west and chillin around the Joan of Arc monument with my pup. Always quiet and clean.

My very own get away space. The sounds of the Riverside Dr.is soothing to me. One of my favorite trees is in this park. I Love to watch the sunset here.

I didn't see much of the park but from what I had seen it was a very nice park.

This is a very peacefulplace that I came here sometimes to think and is very quiet and nice to the tourists.

I had a wonderful experience at the park. People were friendly and their pets were also very curious and friendly. It is a beautiful day!

Great Park With flowers and close To thé bus stop M5. Great location To dit and look at thé numéros bords. Beautiful florès. A great park!

Love this place. Nice park you can jog. Walk your pets . You can see the FDR drive from the park.
