North Bergen 80th Street Park

Very nice and clean park to spend weekends with family. A huge pond with geese and turtles help make you relaxed. You can see people come here for jogging and picnics by the pond. There is also a huge kids playground, newly built and clean. Lots of parking space available and lots of places to sit and relax. Picnic area is good. Great place for kids. Highly recommend this place if you are around North Bergen area.

I'm slightly biased because I live close to the park but honestly this is one of the biggest and best parks in Hudson county. Has it all basketball courts, volleyball, outdoor gym (very beginner lol soccer and football beautiful lake, paddle boats, two giant playgrounds with a water park and Mr softee is always out there it's good vibes

It's your typical park surrounded by a more urban setting.This park is a great place for families to have a picnic, go for a stroll, or just enjoy the outdoors.

There is a lake with a paved path surrounding it. The park has a play area for children, including a watery area for those hot summer days. Ice cream trucks visit, and there are concessions for food. There are some areas set up for playing different sports.

There are plenty of trees and good shade. There are plenty of benches throughout the park to take a brake and contemplate nature. Some places in the park have a nice view.

The park has been well maintained over the years, with some areas having been updated fairly recently. Oh, and there is no lack of metered parking around the exterior of the park.

If you're looking for a peaceful place to spend some time with your family or alone, I definitely recommend it!

I grew up in this area and now live elsewhere. I brought my 1yr daughter to the splashpad and playground and she had the best time. Beautiful park and even better playground for kids of all ages.

Really nice park, its well balanced; you feel like you have enough privacy and yet are not far from your community. There is always some activity and yet if you walk through the park like I do, it feels like you have the quite you might need. It's very clean and everyone seems to understand it should be kept that way. The kids always seem to enjoy the amenities provided.

Place is like my 2nd home. I'm in love with this park.

I've been coming to this park since I was a child. Plenty of things to do here. There's a basketball court, track field, children's jungle gym, a huge lake, baseball field, and plenty of trees for some fresh air. Typically, summer is the best time to visit the park. There are nature trails for walking and some trails for biking. No bikes are allowed around the lake though and the police enforce this rule. From birds to geese, and squirrels to groundhogs, there are plenty of wild life for anyone to enjoy. During the summer, you will find plenty of open spaces great for throwing a ball around or even sun bathing. The track is usually open to the public unless the North Bergen High School athletic teams are using the field. This is a great place to bring your family.

They definitely cleaned up this park a lot! They have a monument dedicated to James Braddock and the surrounding area around it has plenty benches and a modern feel to it. It's scenic and peaceful here during the evening. They have soccer fields and baseball as well. For warmer weather there BBQ pits but you need to come early to use those, by the afternoon they're all used up. Currently a large lake that's at the heart of the park is under construction, but when that project is completed it'll add to the peaceful aesthetic. Blvd East is also nearby which is great to walk to and see beautiful views of the city. Plenty of restaurants, bodegas, and hookah spots nearby too. Overall a great park to enjoy with the family or even for some alone time.

The best park in Hudson County 80th Street and North Bergen New Jersey

Nice park... 3 basketball courts, 3 volleyball courts, multiple fields, bike/walk trail. People are there using the facilities and so just come and play. Everyone pretty much gathers here out of all the parks I've seen for pickup games

Nice place for peaceful walk.

This is a very excellent, good and big park to spend a good time with our families, big lake surrounded by doves, ducks and turtles on the lake.
And of course surrounded by this beautiful nature.

Love this park my family loves to go there and enjoy the day or a few hours.

After walking our dogs we had a Cuban sandwich at the Park's Cafe. It was really delicious. The park is relaxing and peaceful.
