Hofmeister Plumbing Heat and Air Conditioning

On the evening of 4/20/2024 our kitchen sink developed a leak. We called Hofmeister Plumbing, and Mr. Hofmeister arrived promptly and completed the repair quickly in a very satisfactory manner. We were charged a fair price for the repair considering that it was on a Saturday evening. Will gladly recommend Hofmeister Plumbing and use their services in future.

Hofmeister Plumbing did an awesome job on my bathroom and shower faucet! Nancy was so efficient in scheduling Eric to come and fix the faucets. She was most kind and patient including picking out a new faucet for our bathroom sink. Eric did a beautiful job, he was so skilled at his craft and did the job quickly and efficiently. We also want to thank Harold for coming with Nancy when our shower was broken late in the evening to help us.

Needed a snake for a drain and a quote on a dripping part of a radiator. Harold knew what he was doing, gave us a quote and answered all my questions. Snaking was done in a flash. Knowledgeable, friendly, and straight forward in terms of costs and appointments. Will use again!

H. Hofmeister & Co., Inc. is trustworthy. It is reliable and quick to respond to a concern. There was a concern about a possible gas leak from the furnace today. Mr. Harold Hofmeister came quickly, assess the situation and gave an explanation about the possible source of the smell. What is most important is his assurance that there is no gas leak. He took time to explain to me the situation. He did not even charged for his emergency visit. I think that this is my reward for being a Hofmeister customer for many, many years. I remember in 2019 calling the company at night for a a leaky water heater. He patiently instructed me on how to turn off the water. Then he sent someone to change the water heater the following morning.

We had a kitchen sink that was leaking into the cabinet below. I called Hofmeister Plumbing and it was very easy to set-up an appointment.
The plumber arrived within the hour window given . He was cordial to my wife and I. After explaining the problem to him, he quickly evaluated the problem and determined the cause of the leak. The problem was quickly fixed. It feels good knowing that we have a plumber in Hofmeister Plumbing that is readily available and can expeditiously fix the underlying problem. I can't say enough good things about Hofmeister Plumbing! I woke up to a leak in my basement ceiling and wall under my kitchen. A friend recommended Hofmeister because they had an emergency during the holidays and Hofmeister took care of it right away. So I called and Nancy answered on the first ring. She told me she would send somebody over within the hour and she was true to her word. Eric came, located the source of the leak quickly, and had it repaired perfectly. The relief I felt at being able to get a plumber and have them fix the leak within a couple of hours was simply wonderful. I really can't speak more highly of Hofmeister and would recommend them in a heartbeat.

My water heater was leaking and needed to be replaced asap. Every other place scheduled me for weeks out and one company offered to come out in a month! I called up Hofmeister and they came out first thing the next morning and replaced the water heater in a matter of hours! Eric did a great job and didn’t leave a mess after finishing up. 10/10 would recommend.

Called this morning because gas boiler stopped working last night. Within an hour the engineer from Hofmeister was working on it. Very professional and informative. Everything working fine now. I need a new gas boiler and will use Hofmeister later this year to replace it. Thank you!

I've used Hofmeister for at least 3 or 4 jobs. Most recently they replaced a water heater and made the process as easy as can be. They also are very quick at returning calls if they miss your call. And very quick to provide service. 5 stars easily earned.

Hofmeister was amazing!!!! Howard was at my house within a 30 minutes of me calling them for my burst hot water heater. He was insanely helpful, insightful, honest and gave me a great price. Since the tank burst overnight there was a lot of water on my basement floor that I was vacuuming with a shop vac and carrying up 5 stairs to dump outside. As soon as Howard got to my house he went back to his truck to get me a pump to help remove the water, which was above and beyond. He quickly identified the issue with the tank and explained to me in detail what was wrong and how it properly needed to be fixed. I felt very comfortable trusting him that all the work was necessary to completely remediate the issue and stop it from happening again. I will recommend Hofmeister to anyone that needs a plumber and will be calling them back for every need in the future. They were truly amazing and gave me instant relief during such a stressful situation.

The price was reasonable; and the guys who came were polite and professional, and cleaned up like new once they were done.
