The 130 Club

My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary at the 130 Club last year, and this year we chose a different local restaurant. It made us truly appreciate the incredible experience we had at the 130 Club. The food and ambiance are amazing, and they make you feel special.

I can not even begin to express how delicious the food is here! It’s truly an epicurean experience! The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive and the cocktails are out of this world! I will definitely make it a stop every time im in Tenafly!

We celebrated our anniversary at this incredible restaurant with a delightful old-school ambiance. The intimate decorations set a romantic tone. The spicy blue cheese olive dirty martini was a standout, and each dish surpassed expectations. Special mention to our server, Anna, whose helpful and warm service made our celebration unforgettable.

Really a fantastic experience all around. Food was fabulous; they clearly only source high quality ingredients and the chef honors those ingredients by letting the natural flavors be the star of the show. It’s hard to pick a standout, but the French dip and burger were stellar, the pasta was perfect, and the gelato could be the best I’ve ever had.

The Club 130 is a cozy, intimate setting with great food and craft cocktails. Awesome 1920s vibe with friendly valet parking. Perfect for a date night or after-work dinner to relax and enjoy a good meal. Namesake cheeseburger is highly recommended along with the espresso martini and the mac and cheese. Desserts are very rich and perfect for sharing.

Compared to other steakhouses, this place ranks up with the best in NY. Fresh & delicious raw bar platter. Filet was cooked to perfection and a great cut. (Not pictured: meatball & filet sandwich were delicious.) Spicy rigatoni sauce better than Carbones, pasta itself Carbone wins. Elote was perfectly seasoned. Bone marrow was excellent & a very large portion. Bacon had great flavors. Toasted marshmallow gelato was the perfect ending; olive oil gelato flavor could be improved. Great service. Cool, old-school red leather steakhouse vibes. Would recommend and dine again.

Great place to eat and have an amazing time!! Food,service and atmosphere top notch!! Visited this restaurant for anniversary celebration and didn’t disappoint.

I debated whether to leave a review or not, because I don’t want this hidden gem to get too crowded for my own selfishness. But they deserve every star and more. The food here is phenomenal: you must try the bone marrow, the prime rib French dip and of course the burger (put an egg on it). Terrific service every time and the ambiance brings you back to decades ago, when times were more elegant and refined. I also used their private room for a party and it was amazing and the perfect setting for a special occasion. Melissa, the event planner, was super helpful and easy to work with. Can’t recommend the 130 Club enough.

I eat here at least once a month. The best steakhouse in town! Ribeye is always on point. The burger is incredible. Tomahawk also is insane ! The desert is incredible as well. Been here 10+ times and I have never left unhappy. Service is always fantastic. 10/10 would recommend

Can’t wait to go back! Food is fantastic, service is great, atmosphere is a vibe. It’s been a while that I have been to a restaurant where I can actually taste the food and it is not smothered with sauces, cheese etc. The food was so fresh and I enjoyed everything! Hope to be back soon!

Wonderful meal! I love the ambience of this restaurant. The red leather, the wood and mirror walls, great music playing. We were lucky enough to get one of their 2 larger booths in the corner - adding privacy to our dinner with friends. The food was delicious -the queens cut prime rib is bigger than most king cuts at other restaurants - Portions are quite large overall. The waitress kindly told us how large the salads were so my friend and I shared one and it was still too much! Their wine list is extensive, their mixed drinks were very well made. It's expensive but was worth the treat!

Jazz music & 1920s vibe with fresh seafood & great tasting steaks. All of the food on the menu are made to perfection. They're all so flavorful. A must try!!

Four of us had dinner last night. The food is incredible and the specialty drinks as well.
The service could not have been better. Super attentive and friendly.
We had mussels, french dip and the meatball for appetizers. Dinner we had Prime Rib, spicy rigatoni, the cheeseburger and the Spinalis special. Every bite was amazing.
If I could give them 10 stars I would. Thank you Chef Roger. Oh and get the toasted marshmallow gelato for dessert

A true 5 star venue, this restaurant is super expensive, but it’s worth the experience. From impeccable service, to amazing food, we were amazed with every single aspect of our dining experience with 130 club.

For our dinner, we reserved our table online a week ahead. You can several reminders to confirm your reservation, as no show will cost you $60 per person. They have both indoor and patio (outdoor) seating. I’d recommend indoor, as the interior is gorgeous, with red chairs and wooden walls.

Alongside their regular menu, they have daily special menu for appetizer and entrees. There’s a huge drinks menu as well. We ordered items from both regular (baked crab cake, roasted poussin, steak tomato) and special menu (scallops, Bronzino). The crab cake was full of flavor, the scallops were soft and fluffy, just melted in the mouth. The poussin (chicken) was cooked perfectly, tasted delicious including the roasted skin. And the Bronzino, just amazing!!!! A must try !! We ended our night with a chocolate cake that comes with fudge cream. We also got a complementary Gelato for celebrating our occasion.

Throughout our dine, we had great service. Our servers were really attentive, constantly checking on us. There was one person always available in the dine area to address any question/request from the guests. I was really impressed with their professionalism.

This is probably the most expensive restaurant I have been to in NJ, but it’s also one of the best one I have experienced. Happy to have found such a wonderful place to celebrate special occasions.

Baked Crab cake, Scallops, Roasted Poussin, Pan seared Bronzino, Chocolate cake - All 5/5

This is genuinely some of the best food I have EVER had. Incredibly fresh. Literally, every dish was phenomenal. The cacio e pepe was OFF THE CHARTS. Blood orange sorbet was to die for. So so so fresh. Just go. Trust me. Go.

As someone who lives in the city it was an amazing experience to be able to go out to dinner in my hometown that was on par if not above that expectation. The ambiance, food, and our server Jin we’re all excellent. The French dip sandwich and burger were spectacular but everything we ate was delicious. Truly was blown away to have a meal like this in Tenafly.

This had to be the easiest 5 stars I could ever give a restaurant. I had the opportunity to visit 130 Club on my birthday and it was exactly as I've heard, incredible.

Upon arrival my wife and I were greeted warmly. We were seated and our server was informative and professional but most importantly she was friendly. I hope to see her again during our next visit because she and the host up front really helped me to enjoy my birthday and this restaurant experience.

The food was just perfect. My Tomahawk steak came out at the temperature I requested, and was flavorful with a perfect crust. The oysters were fresh. The mac and cheese was creamy and you could tell the recipe for this mac was something the chef thought about. I'm often underwhelmed by a mac and cheese but NOT HERE!

I actually just had some of the left over dessert which triggered me to leave this review. Even after sitting in my fridge for two days the dessert was a hit.

I'm thoroughly impressed at the level of this restaurant right here 10 minutes away from me in Tenafly, NJ. I look forward to my return!
