Seton Park

Seton Park is scenic, gorgeous and peaceful; in fact, old Pete, the Jewish Bruin lives on the closest bench to west 235th Street therein! He says it's even warmer at 3am on a January morning in the park than at 11am on any weekday inside the nearby. NYPL library branch!

Good park, there are options for all age groups, just wish the parks dept would leave the restroom & fountain water on in October.

A very big and Sophisticated. community to live in. Very Quiet and clean. I go to visit in the area to a nursing home there and it's very beautiful the scenery. The flowers, how the setup is, the parks. I haven't been to but they look very nice the tennis courts. The baseball Field. the trees everything is beautiful.

Great park with a large variety of playground equipment, water features, basketball courts, and bathrooms.

I love playing tennis at Seton Park… It’s very convenient and there’s always a parking spot. The only downside is that you need to walk all the way to the end court to access all courts. There is also a lovely park to enjoy and it’s never very crowded!

Nice and quiet area. Currently under construction as I write this, but there's still a lot of peace and places to sit around and relax.

I've loved this park since I was a little kid. The playground is cool (parents you can climb and slide too with your kids). There are tennis courts (I think you have to pay for that) but there's a wall you could easily hit a ball off of on your own. There are a good amount of trees. There is a baseball field near the tennis courts also plus a few basketball hoops. There's usually an ice cream truck hanging around too.

Dog area is much nicer than the one in Ewen Park, only complaint about it is that there should be some water source nearby for the dogs. Baseball fields are nice, the grass and landscape is kept up very nicely. Play area, basketball courts and tennis courts are nice. Bathrooms could be cleaner, but hey, it's a public park bathroom so you can't expect much. Decent amount of benches and a nice paved path to walk. My dog likes to go to this park because there are always plenty of little kids running around and they always want to pet her.

A lovely neighborhood park. Every nanny in Riverdale brings their babies there. It's clean, safe, friendly, with well attended bathrooms. There's a sectioned dog park, tennis courts, a beautiful baseball diamond with a very handsome baseball coach/teacher 😃. As of 6/2/21 the sprinkler system is up and running for the kiddos and the greatest news is the water fountains that were shut down due to the coronavirus, are also up and running. That is a testament to where we are in this pandemic.

Great park with decent amenities. Water fountains and bathrooms are operational and the park is fairly clean. There are two/three softball/baseball/soccer pitches which is predominantly empty during the week. There is a fairy small jungle gym. There are six (playable) tennis courts, however, there is no one to check for permits and it does get busy early the AM and in the weekends. Parking around the park is tough on Mondays and Wednesdays in the AM (street cleaning rules 1130-1); and AM during weekends (just the general usage of park is high).

Seton Park is a massive park with a baseball field, an area for dogs, tennis courts, and basketball courts. There is a jungle gym near the basketball courts. This park is suitable for all ages, but mostly, it's children playing either for some rec league or just hanging out by the basketball courts.

Great park.has a September Soccer league from 6 years old to 14.Talking to the top scorer in the league here 21 goals 13 games. 🥴💯Ask all the defenders ankles I broke who is Juan uvera.Had alot of fun but I reached the age limit.

Very cook atmosphere. My sister gave my nephews a birthday party here. The children had a blast.
