Very nice place with a lot of history. It is located on the first street in the world that had street lights with light bulbs. The museum is small but has original phonographs and music from over 100yrs ago. The staff is great and there is a small gift shop that has awesome gifts.

Visit this museum when Chuck the tour guide is working on Saturdays.
Out of all the tours I've visited, this was by far the most engaging and interesting ever.
I knew little about this person but what they had was brilliant.

Wow!! What an informative visit! While the overall space was much smaller than we anticipated, the tour guides filled us with a large amount of information. Cute gift shop as well!! Well worth the stop.

This is like a little hidden gem in the area. The light tower is relatively spectacular considering there's really nothing else like it just posted in the middle of other suburban towns. The trail behind the tower, though small, is just as good as any other trails. It leads to a small pond as well which is full of wildlife. A lot of birds, turtles, frogs and fish hang out there. It is close to the local roads, so you don't get the full effect of being immersed in nature, but if you want a small & quick getaway to be surrounded by trees you can go here and get that type of experience and it doesn't have to be a major time investment. I love this spot.

if you don't know anything about Thomas Edison this is a great place to learn. They have original artifacts & a very informative tour guide. I think the entry fee was $5. But the monument is free to see.

Almost everyone around this quiet monument to Thomas Edison with a tower with a light bulb on top and off the side of the road assumes the museum in the tower's base is most if not all of the park. There is a bit more.

It is a short distance away from New Dover Road and Metropark. Other parks around Thomas Edison Memorial Park are mostly picnic, playground and sports type things. This is like a mini version of other, larger areas like places in nearby Clark. Like the recently closed golf course converted into park land or Echo Lake. Little easy trail to walk around, places to sit and some interesting nature sometimes that gives you an idea of what this area was like pre- suburbs. Not much parking in the one small lot, though.

I loved this park. The tower is beautiful and the museum was small, but informative. There is a walking trail through the woods behind the museum. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable.

Great museum. Small in size but rich in history. Park might do with some more cleaning(depends on volunteers) but still good.

It is the best little known secret of the township of Edison. Behind the tower, there is a party which has picnic tables and a nice little trail. A great place to spend a summer day.

Love parks. Specially quiet ones.
The best is to be in contact with our nearby nature areas like parks. Fresh air. Relaxing to relief the stress of modern life.
