Fort Lee Pizza

This absolutely the best pizza in NJ, NY any of the five boroughs. I eat pizza a few times a week. Most people say I eat more pizza than anyone they know. The Grandma Pie is to die for. The crust is perfectly cooked so it doesn’t flop over.mozzarella perfectly salted. They are generous with the basil but I get extra. Hands down the greatest. Sometimes they deliver to me on DoorDash or Uber eats when it’s not busy but my husband usually has to pick it up. It’s worth it! They guys are real sweethearts that work there and the owner is a doll!

One of the BEST NY-style slices you will ever eat. For the best experience, buy a whole pie and eat it fresh out the oven. The reheated individual slices are not as good as the slices from their fresh pie.

Great price for the pizza combo. Tastes amazing just a little bit too much grease. Still great though.

Love this pizzeria! Great tasting pizza. I ordered the peppers and mushroom slices. Friendly staff. Great food,small establishment but pretty cozy. $15 minimum on delivery!!

Stopped by on our way home from Cooperstown to enjoy some Jersey pizza and Fort Lee didn’t disappoint! I thought it was basically the best slice I’ve ever had. The crust is perfection, the slices were very thin and the sauce was delicious. I wish we lived closer

This place has legit New York style pizza. Thin crust, yummy cheese, great sauce and not greasy. We tried Joe’s and weren’t impressed. It actually turned us off to trying more New York pizza. This place made us understand the hype…and the hype is real. We ordered twice while staying in the Jersey area.

Ordered a cheese pie right before closing and was afraid it would be half @ssed but it was soooo yummy 🤤!! Also saw that Dave (One Bite) gave them a solid 8. Well deserved! Definitely recommend and will definitely be back for more.

I lived in fort lee for over a decade and can't believe I tried this place for the first time ever. Now this is the only place I will order pizza from!

Hands down this is the best pizza in town!! Friendly staff and the manager Ed is super funny and his interaction with the staff and customers made me want to work in such a pleasant environment!! Good pizza and a great customer service, what more can you ask for!! Thanks Fort Lee Pizza!!

Had the Margherita pizza. Definitely among the best I've ever had. And most definitely the best in the area.

Despite living in the area for 15 years I ordered from here only a handful of times. I thought it was just okay and nothing special. I never tried their plain pie until yesterday. My opinion has changed. Their cheese pizza is a work of art. Perfect balance of saltiness, tang, sweetness (very little), richness, herbs, crispness, moisture. Maybe the only small complaint is its a bit chewy but admittedly I am really reaching. Barstool's rating is legit and well deserved even though the ownership has changed since then.

Love this place. Constant flow of customers. Manager (owner?) making sure everything is running smooth, food is fantastic.

Went here for the 1st time and had chicken parm pizza And it was delicious!! It wasn't greasy, the chicken was tender, the sauce was amazing, and and the crust was thin but soft and chewy. The mozzarella sticks were fresh and tasty and great marinara sauce. service was quick and efficient and the staff was super friendly

One of my go to lunch/dinner spots. Consistent good food. Pizza always hits just right and meatballs are a superb value.

So, my story begins. Last summer. My girlfriend, and I, came to visit a long time friend, who lives in Jersey. He took us around, showed us the sights, in both NY and NJ. One of my biggest desires was to have real, New York style pizza. We tried all the usual spots while we were in the city. All of it was good, but nothing over the top special. Needless to say, I was dismayed. All my life, you hear about New York style pizza, and how amazing it is, none of it lived up to the hype.

Fast forward to the end of our trip. We were in Fort Lee, he was showing us around Palisade Company #4, which is the fire station he works for. He has the idea of having us try Ft. Lee pizza. So, we hurry over, and order up a few slices for everyone one. After the first bite. I finally knew what all the talk was about. This was the pizza you always hear about. This was the best pizza I've ever had in my entire life. Now, I'm rather sad. We don't have pizza like this in Ohio. We have some good pie, but it just isn't Fort Lee.

For a while after, we joke about him mailing me pizza, because I still want more. It was so good, we'd also talk about taking another trip, specifically for the pizza. However, as fate would have it. My friend Dan, had a trip planned to Tennessee planned for this last week. So, he has this great, and crazy idea. Why not get two large pies, and swing through Ohio and drop them off? He might be a mad man, but he came through. 4am on Saturday, August 22nd, 2020. Dan delivered 2 large pepperoni pizzas from Fort Lee, to us in Columbus, Ohio. 553 miles. A very long, but wonderful delivery. It was wonderful to see my friend, and even more wonderful to have another slice of that Fort Lee pizza.

So, in short. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. The food is amazing, The staff are kind and helpful. It's an amazing slice of American history, and with any luck, see you all again next year. To get some more of that amazing Pie!!
