i’m a relatively new runner who just starting to get serious about running and training for my first half marathon. a friend suggested i come here for a foot and gait analysis and to get suggestions on running shoes based off my analysis. let me just say. you will not be disappointed. the professional that worked with me was named Beth and she was amazing. She was thorough with all her explanations and personally picked up a few pairs of running shoes that fit my foot profile. Let me just say that it was comparable to seeing with a new and better prescription after an eye exam. She is amazing and as a marathon runner herself, her advice and opinions are gold. I highly recommend this store and Beth!

This store is a nice size and they have whatever you’re looking for. There are a lot of options for gear, nutrition/fuel (gels, chews, etc) and so many apparel options to choose from.
If you want to speak to someone 1 on 1 about shoes, you should make an appointment so you don’t have to wait. I was helped by Keith the manager and he did a great job. He had my feet scanned, recorded my run, and gave me feedback on the best shoe options for my individual needs. Even though I could tell he was quite busy I never felt like he was rushing me out of the store and I appreciate the feedback he gave me. He even showed me a new way to tie my laces for added support.
I look forward to returning in the future.

I can't recommend Road Runner Sports enough! My experience with Keith was exceptional. He went above and beyond, taking the time to understand both my needs and my dad's. His patience and expertise stood out as he guided us based on our individual plans. Despite being short-staffed, Keith and his colleagues handled the rush with grace, ensuring each customer received the attention and care they deserved. Excellent 1 on 1 assistance. I never felt like I was bothering the staff and they were so patient and thorough! They didn’t push products but kindly made recommendations. I will definitely return! Loving my new sneakers!

My wife and I randomly dropped by the store and had an awesome time. Amanda, our helper, was fantastic. She really cared about making us happy and knew her stuff—she's done five marathons! Our store experience was top-notch, and we'd totally come back for this fantastic service.

Amanda was really helpful and friendly with helping me find a new pair of running shoes! I am a newer runner and she helped me pick a pair that suited my needs!

Beth gave me the best customer service I have had. She was very detailed with what I need to do in order to improve my foot wear, she also brought out multiple sneakers to see which one I liked on my foot as well as how they looked. She also helped me mold my insoles, I highly recommend her for customer service! Thank you so much beth, hope to see you again soon!!

Amazing experience I had today when I did my gait analysis! Definitely recommend this place if you are a newbie at running!

Location: it is located in Paramus. The store is huge with a lot of choices of shoes. There is a parking in the front.

Employee: Beth is the best! She did my gait analysis. First she let me walk in the treadmill and did my 3d scan which is super cool! She explains well the structure of my foot then she recommended me few brands and styles of shoes. She is very knowledgeable on what she is doing and very patient to me as well.

Service: I got my first running shoes here and it was amazing cause it fits perfectly. I got also the personalized insoles here which makes my running even better. Get the VIP membership, cause in case you don’t like the shoes you can return it within 90 days of purchase.

Definitely will come back here for everything related to my running! It was a fun and amazing experience! Thank you Beth!

Best place to purchase sneakers for fitness hands down!! Their system for fitting is stellar & their selection great. I've bought several pairs from there and will continue to do so in the future.

Frankie was really fantastic. I spoke to him On the telephone and when I arrived at the store the shoes that I requested were waiting for me or at the front desk. I tried on several different shoes, and he was very very patient and gave me the pros and cons of each model

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to buy shoes tonight because my size was out of stock but still wanted to give Nicole a shoutout for her assistance. She was thorough, patient, and gave me good options to try on. Thank you!

My family and I visited the store on a whim decision, but I had an excellent experience. Our helper, Ted, was absolutely excellent in both his dedication to helping my family and making sure that we were all satisfied. He also had a lot of knowledge when it came to what shoes would individually be beneficial to our own personal lives. He made our experience at the store amazing and definitely would love to come back to this fantastic service.

Like three weeks ago, my friend and I went to Road Runners of North Brunswick as we have done in the past, but they did not have anything in stock when we went, so we decided to go elsewhere.

The closest store was in Paramus. When we got to the store, we put our name on the IPad waitlist and were helped less than 5 mins later. BTW, we went on a weekday.

I suffer from back problems when running and have plantar fasciitis. Although I was looking for general advice when I went to Paramus, I ended up with out-of-this-world expert advice!!!.

My salesperson was Beth, this woman is AMAZING!!!!!!!

While she took a scan of my foot before even getting the scan results, she was already telling me the issues I had due to the width of my foot and poor arch support she noticed I had. She named all the potential problems this may cause me and asserted in ALL!!!

Beth explained why and how my current shoes were not helping me with the runs and how I needed better support shoes to help correct and improve my back issues. She recommended Hokas, and I got a pair of Brooks too.

I loved the experience. In the past, I had gotten the same analysis at North Brunswick and did not get all the in-depth information Beth provided to me.

Not only is she very knowledgeable, but she is a pro athlete/marathoner herself. She knows all the ins and outs from personal experience, making a world of difference!

I'm so grateful that someone like Beth, with all that experience, provided such fantastic feedback and explanations to buy proper footwear. She advised what to avoid for the future, not to cause further harm to my condition.

In the end, I ended up buying two pairs of shoes and custom insoles! It was worth every penny, and if they don't work out, you can return them, I think, within 60 days!!! No questions asked!

Please do not hesitate to go to this store!!!!! Don't walk; RUN to the store, no pun intended ;)

And if you do run to the store, you will be in expert hands if Beth helps you!!!!!!

Road runner is awesome. I would highly recommend, especially the vip program. I would recommend, however, having more sizes, colors and styles available. Sometime long wait times due to staffing and feel a little rushed to make a decision, but the staff is knowledgeable, friendly and great. 👍👍👍

Had an awesome shopping experience this week with Nicole! She helped me find a new pair of running shoes and then fitted me for two new pairs of insoles. She was incredibly knowledgeable of products and was super friendly! I’ve been coming here for years and she is the best salesperson I’ve experienced.

She was patient and helpful. They really do have the largest variety of sneakers around.
I just wish they had a bigger variety of colors but they were able to order. Other that that it was great.
