Eddy and his team of experts at The Kings of Upholstery took our project from pick up at our home, to reupholstery, to repair of some of the antique chairs to: completion, with delivery back home. I can’t say enough great things about Kings of Upholstery! I sent them a picture of the banquette I needed reupholstered and I got a quote right away. Then, they came to my house and picked up the item. They did the work in a timely fashion and dropped it back off to me. Great service and great workmanship! We had a chair and ottoman reupholstered by King. From start to finish it was a pleasure dealing with Eddy and the staff. Communication was excellent! The final products exceeded our expectation! The fact that it cost less than other estimates was an added bonus.

I am so happy with the chair and ottoman that Kings upholstered for me. From the first call I made to them until the completed chair was returned to me everything was excellent. Eddy was so responsive after I called and sent me a quote right away. His pricing was so much more competitive than others I had been given. Eddy told me I needed 7 yards of fabric when two other companies told me I needed twice as much. That alone gave me so much more confidence in Kings from the get go. They also have an extensive selection of fabrics to choose from which really streamlined the entire process. I would not hesitate to recommend Kings of Upholstery to anyone and really appreciate the quality and integrity of their work.

I called Eddie at the Kings of Upholstery after interviewing several other upholsterers. We found them either rude, disinterested or incompetent. We had used Eddie for a small job in the past. When we contacted him we found him attentive, personable and very willing to tackle all of our jobs including a repair and reupholstering a chair and ottoman. These were very fine George Smith pieces. Yesterday he delivered the repaired chair which was like new and the ottoman which was done to perfection. My wife and I would recommend him highly.

I wanted to reupholster a chair that was my grandparents. The springs were poking through and it needed to be redone. I wanted to pay homage to the style and keep certain elements like the two fabric treatments and style of nailhead while making it my taste. Eddy was a great communicator and very upfront about costs. I sourced fabric elsewhere but Eddy provided an estimate of how many yards would be needed. When the nailheads I had chosen were not available, Eddy called me to suggest a close alternate and get my approval before proceeding. The timeline was as discussed when I dropped off the chair. The team did a beautiful job and I'm so happy with the outcome. The blue chair with pattern on the back is the finished product. The floral and pink is how the chair looked originally. So happy with the work and felt the price was fair for the work completed. I will absolutely use this team again when I need to reupholster something.

Kings of Upholstery were recommended to me by Ethan Allen after my chair was improperly reupholstered by another upholsterer who refused to stand by their work. The chair came back to me with puckered fabric in one section and squeaky springs.
I went to Paterson and met with Nancy who was so understanding. Upholsterer Jose said he could fix it but it will be difficult. He removed all the fabric, diagnosed the problem as not enough foam and padding. He fixed the springs. The chair is perfect.
Eddy had me come back to look at the chair to explain exactly what was done.
These are good people. They could have refused to correct someone else’s work. I am so grateful to Kings of Upholstery.

I am writing on behalf of The Brickhouse Cigar Shop in Wyckoff, NJ. Recently, the twenty or so chairs in our cigar lounge area began to show significant signs of wear. After much research, we heard about “Kings of Upholstery” and the high quality of their work. A few of the chairs were in rougher shape than the others and needed to be completely redone. The remainder required nothing more than new cushions and lower reinforcement. This recommendation on the part of their staff saved us a considerable amount of money and time. Such integrity is incredibly rare in this day and age. On top of that, the quality of their service, turn around time and price are worth more stars than this site allows. I recently inherited 2 chairs that were my mother's and prior to that, my grandmother's. They really needed a refresh!!

I brought the chairs to King and worked with Nancy to find upholstery that would bring my chairs into the 21st century. Nancy was very patient and super helpful and had a good handle on what my "vision" was.

Fast forward to yesterday, when I picked up my chairs. They are AWESOME! I am so please with the work that Eddy and his people did. I highly recommend!

I walked in with a random request, regarding a piece of plastic to be wrapped in leather. The plastic, which had an awkward bend to it, was from a shift knob - so I was already prepared and would understand if I were to be told it couldn't be done. The professional gentlemen at the front desk, Eddie, spoke with staffing and assured me it can get done, same day. I handed over the plastic in good faith, came back a few hours laters, done! Extremely happy of how it came out. A pleasant experience overall and would definitely recommend to friends and family. Kings of Upholstery, Thank you!

Awesome place I bought my cushions in from my Sea Ray boat, I asked that they make them identical stitching etc. and they did.. Absolutely perfect... Lovely people .... And quick 11 pieces, had them back in 2 1/2 weeks.

Eddie did an amazing job on our couch and chair. I highly recommend Kings of Upholstery! It's hard to find someone who delivers exactly what they say they will - but Eddie did just that. The work was meticulously done and there was attention to details. It was an easy process - from choosing the material to the pick up and redelivery. And Eddie was honest and upfront with the turn around time.

I called quite a few places about my Son's VW Passat's Roof Liner... when I called King Upholstery, they weren't reluctant to give me an appx estimate over the phone or to look at the vehicle right away...
They came-in less than 1/2 the price of other Locations nearby and gave me appointment very quickly.
