MADANG Restaurant & Cafe

We rented the upstairs space for a family celebration event recently (~40 people), and had a very enjoyable and pleasant time. The space was able to comfortably accommodate our group, and had nice natural light that flowed in. The service was excellent throughout the event and the food taste and quality was fantastic. The amount of food provided was generous. Leading up to the event, the owner has been helpful regarding the planning and setup of the space.
I would choose this venue again in the future and recommend it to others as well.

I've visited here multiple times, and each visit is absolutely a pleasant and delicious experience. The staff is very kind and the food is quite filling and tasty.

This was an incredible restaurant. My girlfriend brought me here for our 7th year anniversary. We got the dumpling soup, salmon mixed rice, and bulgogi creamy pasta.

First off the atmosphere of the restaurant very much feels like a fancy upscale Korean home. We sat outside on the patio and it was incredibly clean, and cute. Would highly recommend for special events!

Service was also very good. The waiter noticed whenever our water was low or if the bugs were pestering us. Again gives very home-y Korean vibes.

In regards to the actual food, it was delicious and not even that pricey. You can definitely tell they put a lot of effort into the food and thought into how it is crafted. Would highly recommend the salmon mixed rice!

Very elegant restaurant, clean we ll decorated inside. They have a second floor with terrace as well, which can be booked for private events as well.

The menu is decent, got a nice mix of rice, noodles, pasta dishes. Bulgogi cream pasta is really popular, and for a reason. Soft pasta, excellent bulgogi with delicious cream. Loved the octopus fried rice too. Nicely grilled octopus, little spicy. Grilled chicken burger was also amazing. Nice brioche bun, perfectly cooked chicken, and perfect blend of ketchup mayo to create a mouth watering experience. The lava cake was decent, would have love to have it fluffier than what it was.

Service was excellent. Food comes within few minutes. They have their own parking lot with lots of spots.

Great place, had the dumplings (freshly made) jelly fish salad, grilled octopus, some ribs and coconut + mango sorbets and of course a variety of Kimchi, seaweed etc. Everything was excellent we were on the terrace upstairs and the service was also perfect. Will definitely come back to try more dishes!! Very friendly staff!

Bulgogi pasta and brisket salad are my favorites. The complimentary soup(미역국) and side dishes are very good too. This place is my go-to place when I meet someone early. Price is pretty good and parking is easy.

I came here for an event recently and their food was phenomenal. The menu is amazing and has so much to choose from. I would highly recommend the pork jowl toppoki. It was delicious. I wish I lived closer to this place. If I did, I would be ordering from here all the time.

Excellent place for simple modern Korean cuisine. It is refreshing to see that some young Korean folks are bringing their fresh touch on what could be their mom's "same old stuff". Chopped kalbi was little too sweet for my taste, but texture was wonderful and it was properly prepared. They also seem to care about using local ingredients, so I give them five stars!

Almost everything was very delicious. There were lots of Korean guests when we visited, so it seems to be legit. Would love to visit again sometime.

It was small but cozy, home style restaurant. I liked the food because they are not salty and sweet like the other restaurants.

I came here for my nephew's 백일잔치 (100th day celebration) and we rented out a small room which was the perfect size. We brought in our own decorations and the restaurant food was great! Perfect customer service! Would definitely recommend this restaurant for any events and just to try out their food!

The food was delicious and the service was excellent! Try the salmon mixed rice. Outdoor dining is very well done on the upper floor terrace. Don't miss out on their delicious coffee and dessert. Top Notch!

We had our small celebrations at here. We were able to reserve a private room and had great food. Their service was awesome and they printed out a menu with our names on. Thanks a lot!!

This is a Korean fusion restaurant with classic Korean dishes and some fusion. We dined here a few times before the pandemic. Recently, we got takeout. We always appreciated the quality and clean taste of the food. Glad to see that their quality and their menu hasn't changed.

Such a wonderful cozy spot to have some great Korean food on a rainy day. The atmosphere is lovely and the service is so nice and friendly. The food is traditional in some ways but also a little fun and different in other ways. We will definitely come back!

A neat Korean restaurant, now only outdoor terraces are available, reservations are required, a restaurant that comes to mind when Korean food is missed. BYOB

This was a fantastic choice for me and my friends. The food is unbelievably good and the service is even better. The moment I get back to NJ, I’m going again. Highly recommend the japchae!

It's nice place to spend time. This place offer very healthy taste. I especially like the mango sorbet. Very tasty!
