This is the only salon that I’ve visited and haven’t been traumatized or cried in my car after my visit. Olga and the team are so kind and they take the time to really listen to what you want your hair to look like. Other salons and stylists tend to do what they think is best, but Olga checked on me every step of the way to make sure that I was getting what I wanted. The only thing that has been preventing my visit is that prices went up- but it’s completely understandable because Olga is a curly hair wizard. The last time I visited was in 2022 and I hope to come back sometime in 2024! Attaching photos from the two times I visited for color & a cut.

Great staff! Everyone knows your name and is super friendly. It's a cute salon that is very clean. I've only done my hair with Tina. I haven't tried any other service or stylist so I can only speak of my experience. I was looking for a new stylist since the pandemic. Tina did an amazing job, I found my forever stylist. I showed her pictures of what I was looking for and she nailed it! She was honest and made suggestions to give me exactly what I wanted and listened to my needs. Over the past 8 months, I've gone 5 times. I've done hair color, cuts, glaze, hi-lights, and different treatment masks for extra moisture. My hair hasn't ever looked this healthy. I'm so happy I found this place. Even if it's just for a consultation I think you won't be disappointed.

THE BEST EVER!! Never thought my hair could get as curly as Olga got it too. The vibe of this salon is everything. Everyone is amazing, so sweet and passionate at what they do. 10/10 a must visit salon for all hair types.

She's super skilled and knowledgeable when it comes to curls, and I always leave feeling great. She really pays attention to your hair, especially if your curls aren't even like mine.

I want to thank everyone at the salon for an amazing experience overall! I went in for just a haircut and they treated me like a member of their family. Super kind, super knowledgeable, super patient. Not only did she fix the haircut from the prior beautician, but she amalyzed my hair. Then she showed me how to add the product and how to put it on to activate the curl. Olga is the best but her girls are awesome to. So very kind. Thank you.

I went for my first appointment with Olga just this past Wednesday - I waited a whole month for it because so many people want to get in to see her for her expertise and her talent. And when I tell you it was soooooo WORTH IT - I am not exaggerating. She took time to discuss my hair history, my current routine. My current products, my hair goals - everything.

I have type 2b hair, and for the longest time I have struggled to find the right way to cut/style/care for it because the curly girl methods were too heavy and kept weighing down the texture I had. I love my curls/waves, but I couldn't find a way to consistently achieve them while controlling the frizz.

Not only did Olga give me an amazing haircut for my round face shape, after I completely left it I'm her hands with only requests as to the approx. length, but she taught me the thoughts/science behind the products she was choosing, how to tell how much to use, the order in which to apply them, how to use the diffuser the right way, and how to define my curls with a brush and/or my fingers while achieving volume. This consultation was the most detailed/in depth one I have EVER had. And you know what? This is the best my hair has ever looked - even after washing and styling it myself. And refreshing my curls between washes - I have been successful TWICE now and that has never happened for me before.

I am so happy I could cry. I absolutely love this salon and very much plan to go back in the future. Olga truly has a gift for not only the work she does but for teaching and uplifting her clients. She is worth the wait 💗

I really love this place. Yesterday was my first time in here and I'm not going anywhere else. Everybody is so nice and pleasant I felt extremely welcome. I started transitioning 1 years ago and I'm still learning how to take care and stylish my curls, and Olga was a great help. She takes the time to listen to what you want and what you need for your hair. She also shared with me tips of how to stylish and take care of my curls. Let me start by saying I wish I could give Olga and her staff 10 Stars. I have been following Olga on social media for a few months. I starting transitioning back to my natural curly hair (3C) two years ago after using keratin straighter for 10 years. My previous hair stylist who I was with for almost 15 years and I love catered more to straight hair. So here I was on this new hair journey in 2020 and terrified to try a new stylist. I knew that finding a curly specialist was a MUST to keep my hair in tip top shape. I checked out many salons online and followed their social media but none got my attention like Simply You Hair Studio. Olga was always so transparent and inspirational on her social media posts. Her passion for the curly hair community was transparent. My nerves were quickly calmed when I walked into the salon. The ladies who worked there were so welcoming. I was given a tour of the salon and offered coffee and water. The best part was that everyone was genuinely nice. I truly felt welcomed. Olga literally explained every single step in detail. She explained everything, with detail every step of the way and always let me know what was happening next. She took her time but most of all she listened to my concerns and she asked questions. It was totally worth the drive from Long Island to New Jersey and honestly I would drive even longer if I had to. I am so beyond happy with my hair results and hair cut. I will never go anywhere for my curly hair haircut other than Olga. She's does such a fantastic job! Absolutely knowledgable and kind. She really knows her stuff and even when I get nervous about my hair cut, I trust her expertise completely and she never disappoints. I got a dramatic change, going from slightly longer hair to shoulder length with layers and bangs. I didn't even really know what I wanted but she exceeded all expectations. Her daughter Rose (who also works there) is an absolute sweetheart too! The level of professionalism and hospitality at Simply You is unmatched.
