This is the best hardware store around! They have everything you could possibly need for around the house and the service is excellent. Their locksmith dept is also awesome; I had a difficult lock that needed a special key and they worked with me tirelessly to get my key made at the expense of testing and retesting a couple of their keys, which they did not charge me for. Shoutout to Harold! I would not go anywhere else, genuinely 5 star service!!!!

Great staff. Helpful and quick. Got keys made and they work perfectly. Store layout makes sense, which for Manhattan, is saying something.

Everyone here is so nice! Always ready to help me figure out what I need, and my daughter loves to see the animals they have in the back. Not as cheap as a big box store but it's a great spot right on Dyckman with people that remember you, and that's worth it.

The people that work here are really nice and helpful, and remember you. Plus there are some adorable cats and parrots that live here, and it's always fun to visit them. I'm glad that this place is here, as opposed to some impersonal box store!

Best hardware store in the neighborhood. The owner is very friendly, helpful, and can help you find what you need. If I'm unsure if they'll have something specific, I usually call before hand and ask, and they've always been helpful over the phone.

When I visit NYC and my uncles neighborhood I make a point of visiting this friendly store. They have whatever I need. Last time, it was a few keys. Quick and easy. I make a bee-line to visit the parrots. I hear it's not unusual.

They stopped doing paperwork to help me, which was so kind. Also a very friendly store cat and birds! I would give more stars if I could
