My husband & I had the best experience working with Donna! I fell in love with a couch as soon as I walked into the showroom only to realize it would be too big for my space. Donna helped us design a beautiful custom couch that will work perfectly in my home. There are so many options to choose from and Donna guided us through each step seamlessly. She is patient, extremely knowledgeable, and has a great eye for design. I highly recommend Donna!

I made an appointment with Donna based on previous reviews I had seen online and she did not disappoint! Donna was friendly and helpful with fine tuning the couch I had selected. From fabric, to arm style, to which leg style and wood stain I should go with, she was spot on and knows her stuff! I look forward to dealing with her on future projects and highly recommend her!

Beautiful store, the BEST staff and, high quality, gorgeous furnishings. From when I first walked in, to the design process, to furniture selection, to delivery, Donna was absolutely amazing!! I needed to furnish a newly renovated family room and dining room and Donna helped me through the entire process. From our initial visit to the showroom to delivery, we were completely satisfied with the purchase of our Bassett sofa.

We had something very specific in mind and visited several other national furniture retailers, not finding anything that appealed to us. We had not shopped Bassett before, but there was a location nearby and we stopped in. Donna Heskins very knowledgeably pointed out models that came closest to what we had in mind, and one in particular—the Mitchell—fit the bill almost perfectly. When we returned to select fabric, she helped us select a custom fabric that made us feel we were getting a new look, but that also coordinated with existing armchairs and area rug. She also guided us in choosing seat cushions that delivered the firmness we were looking for.

Our new sofa arrived this weekend—delivery was hassle-free and as scheduled—and we love it. We would certainly use Bassett again and recommend Donna to anyone in the Paramus, NJ area who is shopping for furniture.

I had been looking at bedroom furniture on the Bassett Furniture website since August 2023. I even emailed Donna Heskins to set up a consultation. Since I was renovating a bathroom I decided to wait and I let her know. On my way home from picking up a faucet I decided to stop in to the Bassett store. I asked for Donna since I had been in contact with her, it was only fair. She remembered our previous contact even though it was months ago. I already knew what furniture I wanted so that was the easy part. As any person knows, when they see interesting things they have to look. I saw a dining room set I was interested in but decided not to purchase it. Then I mentioned rugs. Donna went through every rug sample with me but none matched the colors I was looking for. Donna took her time and was very patient. Besides having a very enjoyable experience, Donna is personable and very knowledgeable. I I ever need furniture I would definitely contact Donna Heskins again. She is an asset to the company.

From start to finish Donna was amazing! I went in with a specific size and shape I needed in a sectional and she exceeded my expectations!!! She is wonderful. If you’re going to Bassett in Paramus NJ ask for Donna! You will not be disappointed. The BEST!

Donna is an absolute pleasure to work with. She spent a Saturday afternoon walking us through our choices for dining room chairs, fabrics and a rug. She gave us many options and listened to my ideas and helped us choose the perfect pieces! They were delivered today and look absolutely terrific! I ordered an entire new bedroom set from this Bassett location and their customer service was exceptional. Seth DeVil was so helpful and professional. He was extremely responsive and went above and beyond in every way. It was not his fault that my furniture didn’t fit up my staircase but he worked with me step by step to make it happen. The individualized attention I got made it a pleasure to work with Seth and the team at Bassett. I would highly recommend! Their delivery crew was exceptional as well.

Excellent experience working with Seth! He was extremely professional and went above and beyond our expectations from beginning to end!
