This is a beautiful location with a garden, picnic tables and waterfront seating. There are places with sun or shade once you walk down the path from the entrance.

Sunset is great around here, watch out for skunks in the summer. Canadian Gooses like to hang out here in the winter.

Where city meets nature. Perfect tiny little boardwalk for sitting at dusk. Also neqrby picnic tables. Most notably the showcase of Inwood’s most famous flippered one, Sealy the celebrity seal.

Very peaceful area even when you share it with others. Perfect for morning routines: meditation, yoga, circuit exercises, etc. plus there is the added bonus of very distracting wild life!

Great little park area to read books, listen to music, and enjoy nature around you. This little park is very secluded and peaceful. However, when there’s a football game going on or a train passing by - you’ll quickly realize you still live in one of the busiest City in the world lol. Enjoy 🌳

This place is my escape from New York City. The only time it's really crowded are the summer holidays. Otherwise, it's a great space to chill, catch some reflection and sit in peace and quiet. Being part of Inwood Hill Park means that there are another 96 acres to roam and be adventurous!

I'm grateful to the parks department for their efforts to preserve this little piece of land that could easily have been concreted over or sanitized and made to look like any of the other parks in the area. Whilst it's a conservation site, and they probably had no choice, I'm still grateful for this new addition to amazing variety of parkland we have here in Inwood.

I'm sure there are people who will be underwhelmed by how small this park is, and others who won't like the way it looks, but personally I love how wild this section feels, despite its size, and can't help but think that there are some birds and insects that are better suited to it than anything else in the surrounding area. I also like how calm it feels, and the view of the creek and the bridge are pretty much the signature picture postcard of the neighborhood.

You owe it to yourself to try it out - come and sit on a bench, breathe in and out, let the (hopefully) petty troubles of your day drain away, and just soak up how grounding the whole experience can be.

It was lovely. A nice breeze. I was there checking for locations and delivery of oyster castles. Small fish were swimming at the racing shell entrance. A great blue heron flew over.

INCREDIBLE. A special quiet zone in Inwood Park right on the Hudson River. Developed by Columbia University. Comfortable benches. Soft lights in early Eve. Total quiet, beauty and peace.

Peaceful mostly hidden gem of a park. We saw families with young children enjoying the view and peace in this finely preserved mini eco-system. What a treat!

Columbia University's Muscota Marsh is an excellent addition to Inwood Hill Park and the surrounding green spaces. This modern riverfront park features views of the Harlem River, Spuyten Duyvil and the marshlands of Manhattan's northern most tip. Great place to relax and watch the sun set.

Only undisturbed piece of shoreline in Manhattan. If you want to see what it looked like 400 years ago, come here.
