me and my husband went here for our anniversary a few months ago. The food was very good! he got the chicken and I ordered the steak, they where very accommodating to our dietary needs and changed out the starchy items for vegetables! the grilled calamari was amazing!

First visit and was pleasantly surprised. All the food was delicious and the fish was very fresh. It was a Wednesday night and all the tables were full - always a good sign. Food we had: fried eggplant/zucchini and grilled octopus for appetizers. Red snapper for two, porgy (durado), sardines. All delicious. Service was also very good. Young waiter but he had been well trained, you could tell. We will be back!

I’ve had dinner at Syros Taverna twice since November and I’ve gotta day it’s my new favorite restaurant!! The food is delicious and tastes fresh. The hostess is very accommodating and pleasant. I had the same waiter both times I visited. His demeanor was consistent both times. He was very attentive and seems to enjoy his job. I’ll definitely be going back!

This is an elegant Greek restaurant. Some of the menu items are a little high in price, but they are well worth the cost. There are a few inexpensive options to choose from as well, in case cost is a major concern. Our meals were everything we could've​ asked for—fresh food, generous serving sizes and phenomenal taste! We also had a great waitress. She was patient with our questions, as this was our first time having Greek cuisine, and she offered recommendations from the menu. We had an incredible overall experience and plan to return soon!

But the new menu's Awesome. The selection are great there is something for everyone. My all time favourite is the bronzini fish.However my new favourite is the black eyed peas and squid salad. And my son chose to Lobster risotto it was out of this world.

ST is an authentic Greek seafood restaurant located on Palisade Ave about 2 blocks from Bergen PAC. Many creative, authentic spreads and appetizers. BYOB with a wine store across the street with a nice selection if needed. I selected cod for my entree and the presentation and preparation were both outstanding. Ran out of time for the theatre performance so was unable to try the desserts. Very bright and cheery atmosphere and my server was excellent. Reservations definitely recommended. Noticed many ethnic Greeks dining there. I will definitely return and would strongly recommend to anyone.

We were surprised how much this restaurant changed with the new, very talented chef Stavros Bariabas. Everything was fresh, amazing taste of Greek dishes with a personal touch that brings this place above many restaurants around. Excellent service as well. We will be back and we definitely recommend Syros Taverna!

Went there after visiting a newborn at the hospital nearby. It was Sunday night, pretty busy but they were able to still seat us ( group of 7).
The food was excellent. The calamari was nice and soft. The octopus was very tasty. The zucchini chips perfectly crisped. I had the greek meatballs with fries in a tomato sauce, very good! I was stuffed with the apps yet couldn't stop eating my main dish. Both my kids finished their dinner which is a miracle lol! My wife had the sardines. They were very fesh and tasty.

The waiter was on top of us and always made sure we had enough water. Took our order quickly and the food came out in order ( I hate it when they bring everything together apps and main food).

Will definitely go there again when in the neighborhood. Bravo!

Best restaurant in englewood. Similar Greek food to what you'd find in Astoria without the crazy prices. The wait staff is kind, helpful, knowledgeable and not overly annoying. Best thing here IMO is their red snapper. Great fresh ingredients. BYOB and there's a liquor store across the street :)

Fresh fish cooked perfectly! The Octopus was so tender! Everything we ate was delicious including the baklava we had for dessert! The staff was very friendly and the service was excellent!

Very good restaurant with excellent food and upper level service. The "different touch" in service was evident when we couldn't find open the liquor store next door ( unfortunately they do not have the alcohol licence) and a waiter came offering a Pinot Noir that another customer left in the restaurant before us. Extremely kind and really high customer satisfaction

Fresh fish and cooked right is what I get everytime I visit this place. Although I have tried other dishes besides fish and surely wasn't disappointed. The owners are friendly and go out of their way to make sure everything is just right. A true Greek hot spot.

Delicious Greek food with amazing waiters! Asked the kitchen for lots of changes (sorry), and they made each one. Garlic and white wine shrimp? Sure... delicious! Porgi was awesome.

This is the best Greek restaurant in the area. The food is outstanding and the staff is super nice. It is reasonably priced and it's always a pleasure to come back to this place. Would definitely recommend!!!

Very delicious and fresh seafood! beautiful decor inside. The servers and busboys are very kind. I will definitely be back and highly recommend.

Excellent Food!! Went in the early afternoon so there were no crowds. It gets busy from 6-11pm. Reservation recommended. BYOB.

The branzino was amazing. It was flaky and very well seasoned. Paired it with the traditional Greek salad and the basmati rice. This is a place I will frequent in the future.

Gustavo, Jerry and staff are very accommodating and polite. The food here is absolutely superb, I work at Englewood hospital down the street and come here every Friday for their Tzatziki sauce and chicken

Excellent food, great hospitality, great service which makes you feel like you are dining at a seafood restaurant in the Aegean. Owners are lovely people.
