Daily Treat Restaurant

I've been coming here 20+ years, and my wife (who grew up in Ridgewood) has been going even longer.

Very friendly, always feels like coming home. Good menu with a lot of variety, and I've always been pleased with the food.

If you're in town, and looking for good diner fare, I highly recommend.

The service at Daily Treat was very good if not excellent. From the minute my family and I walked into the restaurant, Stefanos made us feel really welcomed. Throughout our stay, he stopped by our table multiple times and asked us if there was anything that we needed. Oh yeah, and the food was very good too

I can always depend on this restaurant for a good meal at a reasonable price. And partly because it’s in trendy downtown Ridgewood, you can usually expect good service here as well.

The outside dining area is warm and functional. And since this prime spot on East Ridgewood Avenue is central, you’ll enjoy eating outside as well.

Modern, clean bathrooms add another comfort, if you go. Good portion sizes and all the basics … .

Great place. We have been coming here for the last 20 years and have never been disappointed or left the place hungry. Nice people working here too.
Update as of 7/7/23 - it’s now getting close to 30 years that we’ve been coming to the Daily Treat and it still continues to please us. There is never a bad meal here and the service is always spot on. Pictured is the Philly Cheesesteak which was excellent (not pictured is the pickle which I ate). Their breakfast items, what I usually get, are top notch. My thanks to the owners and staff for always being so reliable.

I ordered the Sirloin steak meal off Grub Hub. The thing was HUGE and cooked exactly as ordered, large serving of mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables, nice sized salad with dressing, bread and butter, utensils and napkins all for $22, total including tax and tip $30. Great value for the money. I'll be ordering from this restaurant often.

This place is a great spot for us and our two kids. Food is great and the service is amazing!!

Had a wonderful lunch outside at the Daily Treat yesterday! The pea soup and salads were delicious!!! I have been going to my home away from home, the Daily Treat for over 50 years!!! John & Dimi and their amazing staff are like family. They are The Best!!!

Delicious dinner! Loved the food here especially its breakfast and lunch. Got waffles for my breakfast and a large burger here, very delicious and just perfectly well done! Staff there is awesome and they get the work done correctly! Would recommend coming here!

Great place for breakfast. I enjoyed both their French Toast and stuffed French toast. They accommodated a party of 9 with only a small wait and delivered everything that was ordered to the table quickly and without any issues. I'd try this place again.

Love the food and the menu. The service was very good. The waiters/waitresses were also very friendly. In one of my most recent visit to the daily treat, my waiter Stefanos made me and my friends feel really welcome and it was an overall great experience.

The Daily Treat manages to retain the personality and familiarity of the local Jersey diner experience. The food is very good, the service personable and efficient, and the atmosphere friendly. It's the kind of place where you can eat by yourself but not feel alone (unless you really want to). If you are looking for a casual and satisfying experience in Ridgewood, then look no further than the Daily Treat. You won't be disappointed!

Per my kids : best breakfasts place in universe. Muffins were yummy and French toasts too. From a grown up perspective- simply, very good quality and tasty food. Kids friendly. Muffins are amazing. Very nice and warm service. I can’t believe that we haven’t been there before.

Great food and even better service. My friends and I go there very often and you can always count on good food and great service. All the servers are very friendly. Especially Stefanos who is very personable and always makes us feel very welcomed. Definitely recommend it.
